And Anne chooses Caladan. Can't say I'm surprised. Caladan is a boost to any team.

Stan said port battles are all about gold. I disagree. There may be few ways to fight for ports, and gold will always be important, but other things matter as well. Voodoo is vital. Good planning always helps a lot. And coordination and communication during the execution phase can be crucial. Also, it is possible to fight for ports as a marathon, and not a sprint, by reducing your target's income for months prior to the actual attack.

Cal certainly is an asset on any team he has sided with. Of that I have seen.

Interesting you look at it from an offensive side and I view from the defensive and the similarities in each approach.

It is difficult to formulate a plan when facing a defensive posture until you see the nature of the attack.
Its usually a thrust/parry/counterthrust combination of port voodoo and GC.

Of course the port bombardment and the loss of citizens from such and the littered ships that lay in the harbors throughout Avonmora give testament to real port warfare...sigh...... maybe someday..

One of the most important things you mention is communications. Mixed comms has been the downfall of many great battles here.

Kangaroo, from Tokelau, has not, but then again, maybe the ability to avoid a war is more important than the ability to win one? We will see how the next captains consider this when they make their choices.

yeah and ta did nothing in defense of the ports but then we are after crafted words in favor of the truth so yeah he gained much experience while fighting in that war as a matter of words were it not for him all ports would have perished to the bermudians :y :D :D :D
damages or butthurt received in the posting of these words is solely yours and yours alone

I sincerely doubt they would have severe malnutrition issues, I saw pictures of the proud N.K. people feasting on grass clippings. Which im guessing get processed by all the parasites in the belly. Go Communism!

Maybe Kim only posts on the trump forum :D

We are working in making contact with Kim Jung Un (Lachlan). Please be patient as from what I'm told he lives in Australia. We are looking at potential alternatives if we cannot reach him.

Oh? Is Kim offline? I hope he returns to make his picks. Also, good to hear you're looking for a plan B.

Uhm, if he doesn't, does anyone know if Kim has any nice ships? Asking for a friend.

I had considered lighting him up to get him on game, but the notification of that would be the same as a PM which I had already sent.

I'm told he is a follower on the PG Facebook and we recently posted an update about the draft start. So that may get him here.

As a contingency when Clock was setting this up, he set himself as a backup captain in the event of something like this; however, with Clock being busy and recovering from his accident I don't think it would be fair to him to be a backup. I'm going to see how things playout, hopefully, Lachlan will get the message. I have already messaged the captains, so whatever decision is made is going to be done with the full agreement of the captains.
