Going to some folks who kidnapped some people. See what they want. Scout things out. If possible save the hostages while there, if not, make a plan.

Black stands there shaking his head.

Wait a minute, should I not be trying to kill you right now?

Veera shrugs

By all means, you can try. Though, it will honestly just be a waste of both our time and effort. Should really let things go. Trust me, there will be plenty more deeds I plan to do that you can try to kill me over in the future. For now, I'm not the villain in this situation, and since I'm getting paid, I intend to help. If you attack me, I'll just take my payment and run-since I know you all will try to help even with me gone.

Black nods.
Can do. You can probably see why I am a bit confused. When I left, everyone was still trying to find ways to kill you. I come back, you're on our side.

Veera laughs

Wouldn't go that far. I'm bored, the governor offered me gold, and you lot are heading the same way. So for now our interests align. I also told the family I'd behave for the holidays and a while after. Once that promise ends, I'm going back to doing evil things. Oh and this is Agrat.

The other robed woman smiles and nods

Veera just sighs and walks off

Come on. We got some walking to do.

Have you considered just using horses?

Dreadbolt was already headed into the forest. Ya'll coming or what?

Veera shakes her head

Forest isn't good terrain to go with horses into. It's not far of a walk. Besides by the look of it, a small party of their men are heading into the city. Probably to parley. But be prepared to fight just in case.

As she walks to the forest she points to a small group of around 6 leaving the forest, though from this distance it is hard to notice much about them
