Youngster? Me? Hardly. But, I am Admiral Thomas Dreadbolt, and this is Ms. Elizabeth Wolf. She is the daughter of Tortuga's governor.

Gale smiles and laughs

Oh, I remember him. I worked for his father as the governess and helped teach him. How is he doing? Also to what flag do you sail for Admiral? Doubt it's Spain, I think I'd recognize you if it was, so my guess is maybe Tokelau?

No flag of Avonmora, actually. I sailed here from an empire about 3 weeks north of St. Martin's. Lydrian, it's called. I've become a bounty hunter of sorts.

Gale nods

Well that is interesting. You lot are bit early. Feast isn't for another hour, so you can go to the ball room and talk to some of the other early birds. Most are just brown nosing politicians and nobleman so not much fun to talk to them, but I need to stay here to welcome any other guests. Agrat, how about you stay and keep me company and we can catch up?

Agrat smiles and nods and the 2 begin chatting. Veera smiles as she goes to the ballroom and mutters under her breath

Great, now I don't need to listen to her call me Imp for a while. Might as well do some social climbing of my own I suppose.

Jack marches in to where everyone else is, dressed in the same old sea clothes. They look cleaner than usual.

Gale nods to him

Welcome to the party. Still a bit early, so feel free to mingle with the folks in the ballroom til the feast starts. The governor will show up later.

Veera turns and see's Jack and laughs a bit as she calls out to him

Wow. Guess they will let in any old riff raff to parties these days.
