RP Celebrations In Caspian

Ahoy all, time for a bit of a special RP.

This one is intended to be mostly lighthearted, festive and fun as a sort of holiday Rp. There will be some conflict, but that isn't gonna be the focus.

Rules are as followed

1. Try to keep things in character. Don't post something unrelated to the RP here. If you don't like this RP, don't complain about it here. Post a new thread or start your own RP thread if you don't like this one. I would actually be quite happy if someone posts a RP of their own so please feel free to do so.
2. You can control your characters actions-You can not control others. NPC's are fair game and anyone can control them, so long as its believable and in character. A guard for example shouldn't just up and decide to shoot an orphan for no reason-that is out of character. Anyone without a name will be considered a NPC, if you name a character but want it to be a NPC then just mention that said character is NPC in quotation marks after a post.
3. You are allowed to have multiple characters- but be reasonable. Don't flood the story with a bunch of your characters. 2 or 3 in one story is fine, anything past that is sort of pushing it unless you are really good at managing them.
4. Use Italics for actions, and try to separate things nice and neat. Also use paragraphs when needed. Quotations if for speaking out of the roleplay.
5. No editing of a post once you post it. The exception is to fix spelling mistakes or minor errors. It can be real annoying when someone posts one thing and another responds to it only to find what they responded too is now completely different.
6-Do not act on knowledge you know but your character doesn't- If for example Character A is being attacked in the tavern, and your character is in the church, you can't have your character suddenly rush to the tavern to help unless you can give a reason WHY he knows what is happening or he is rushing to the tavern.
7-if you have an objection to something, message the person directly first to resolve it.
8-Please do not decide things for other's characters without consulting them first. For example-don't say your character is my character's father, or lover, or anything without asking me first. Same for all folks. It puts them in an awkward spot.
9-keep things relevant to PG and pirates and their era and tech. So no aliens, or airplanes. Voodoo and magic are fine.

In the port of Caspian a large holiday festival is being celebrated, Large feasts are being held throughout the port, folks sing songs and play games throughout the town. In a large busy pub called the Hag's Head, drinks are being given out for half price, as the folks drink merrily celebrating the good times. The bartender Burt is busy giving out glass after glass of drinks, in one corner several women sit chatting with each other.

[Henry Avery]

*Dreadbolt docks, as usual, and walks into the tavern* Starting to think you're omniscient, Burt. You're everywhere!

Burt laughs and quickly responds

I can promise you I'm not Omniscient-that means all knowing by the way. What you're thinking of is Omnipresent. Which I'm not either. Unless you only count bars. I work every bar. Don't ask me how. Long story short-easier to just have every bar ran by Burt, then come up with new names.

[Henry Avery]

A timid, redheaded young woman in an expensive dress wandered in, and then started to clutch Dreadbolt's sleeve. Oh. Lizzie, didn't I tell you to stay on the ship? This type of place isn't safe for a lady of your class.

Lizzie nods, hesitant to leave. S-Sorry, Tom. I just got s-scared, is all.

Burt responds

Hey, I'll have you know the Hag's Head is the best pub in Caspian. Safest and most expensive. I should know, I work all of them. Why look over there, You can see several high class women drinking. Plus look at the armed guards outside if you feel unsafe.

Burt points to the corner, where a group of women in very fancy clothes are drinking. Tom recognizes one of them as Veera, who notices him and waves grinning.

[Henry Avery]

Oh. In that case, stay, Lizzie. Just stick close. Dreadbolt and Lizzie sit at a table near Veera, and Dreadbolt orders rum, as usual, while Lizzie ordered some fruity concoction.

So what have you been up to, Veera? My men and I just finished savaging the Spanish treasure fleets. All told, around 5 million in loot.

Veera smiles as she replies

Oh just the usual deal making and manipulation I tend to do.

One of the other women leans forward giving a somewhat wicked smile as she speaks

So who's your friend Imp?

Veera rolls her eyes

Not my friend, just someone I know. Also please show me some respect and call me by my name in public will you Agrat?

The other women just laugh while Veera just looks annoyed before turning to Thomas.

So, that your daughter? Sister? Lover? Apprentice? She looks a bit fancy to be with someone like you honestly.

[Henry Avery]

Lover, but, well... It's rather one sided. I keep telling her that we aren't good for each other. I mean, an immortal, 7 ft tall steel giant, with a young, classy girl like her? But I can't seem to shake her.

[Meliva]

Veera laughs a little as she looks to the young woman

You are aware that you won't be having any children with him right? That body of his is pretty fancy, but I know for a fact that my sister didn't give it any "male" equipment. Unless he had more work done without me knowing.

Eh, but that aside, what brings you to Caspain? I'm guessing the festival? Supposedly there will be a special event happening soon to celebrate.
