His head rolls itself over, closer to Rhena, and bites ankle. Then Black's body strolls over to her while she is distracted and promptly punches her in the face.
A prison warden must be the very best at kung fu.

Rhena's body slumps over, before balloning up, and exploding, knocking Black far back. A moment later, another Rhena steps forward from hiding frowning

You are an absolute moron. Do you even use your brain? Do you even have one? You just blindly attack, no second thoughts, about "is this a trap? Is this just a puppet? I wouldn't mind parleying, but do keep that brainless imbecile on a leash.

Jack puts his pistol away.

Right then. For what purpose did you start this whole bloodthirsty debacle of which the most vicious captains I have ever seen would have cringed in horror at? How much money would it take to get you to leave?

Rhena laughs

Don't have much need for money. I can not speak for Veera, but I helped cause this death and destruction to help cull the herd. Plus to test out my creations. At this point, I think I've tested them enough and culled the herd well enough. I'm probably just going to leave now. Veera will cause more damage, and I won't need to cull any populations for a good while. Maybe next century. Or who knows, even longer depending on how this turns out.

Any other questions before I go?

Rhena blinks for a moment before replying

Weird. Figured you hero types would have asked some serious questions. Like where prisoners are kept, or what Veera has planned. Or which tunnel has all the children that are about to be eaten by monsters in about.

She checks a watch on the wall

10 minutes. Well, since apparently not, that does save me some time.

She begins packing some bags, humming to herself, as the spiders stand guard. Zephyra quickly looks around, and counts about 7 tunnels.

I'm gonna scout out the one heading north. Rest of you can try to talk to her or check other tunnels. I really don't like talking to Rhena. She creeps me out.

Rhena, you do realize that you may have brought about the Apocalypse, right? All this is bound to catch Gaster's attention.

Jack nods.

C'mon gentleman, let's check out the tunnels.

He and his men go down one tunnel. Jack draws his pistol and holds his sword aloft, leading his men down the tunnel.

Rhena shrugs as she continues packing

Eh, if I did, humanity had a good run. Too good honestly. Life will bounce back eventually. Most likely anyway. Even if not, won't matter. All things must end sooner or later. Species. Planets. Races. Stories. Stars. Even old witches like me.
