A sharp hiss was heard as Dreadbolt sucked in , air. He smelled the stench of plague, and the blood, still fresh on Veera's teeth.

This place... It reeks of death, of the Plague.

Deep in his broken, mechanized psyche, a memory stirred: His family, bodies bulging with black pustules, being thrown into a pit, buzzing with flies.

Veera simply continues to smile and responds

Oh that, well long story short, was hired to do some damage to this port, and since I knew there were some folks who robbed my sister hiding here, I decided a little plague would solve both problems.

Course, didn't know at the time that something else was attracted to this place. Came the same night I started the plague, and to my surprise it's done far more damage to this port then I have. You and Emmy should take care at night. That's when it is active. Now unless you have need of me or some questions, I think I'm going to go home now. Need to decontaminate myself.

Well, don't say I didn't warn you. Must say, I am a bit surprised you apparently don't have any questions. That's a nice change of pace, most folks ask too many. Anyway, I think what was stolen is hidden in the cathedral nearby. Along with what's been causing so much havoc in this port. Best of luck to the 2 of you.

Veera gives Emily a quick hug, before jumping up, and disappearing. Emily looks to the cathedral in the distance as she speaks.

Wanna wait for half a day to see if anyone else is coming, or do you wanna just go in now? Might want to bring some crew for extra muscle.

We go now. I will bring 10 men. *he turned, barking orders at his first mate, who turned, and waved 9 other men forward, who all trooped down the gangplank. He beckoned to the bird, holding out a brass finger for it to perch on, the rest of his hand still hidden in the rags of his uniform's sleeve.

Parrot looked up slowly from under his wing - the undead Admiral stood before him with a bony finger cocked towards him.
Parrot was frozen with the cold and fear but somehow, without his doing he suddenly found himself perched upon the shoulder of this giant hulk as if drawn there by magic...Confused he gave in to whatever was going to happen, he was better off with the biggest thing around...

He reached into his pocket, intending to give the bird some hardtack, but thought better of it, instead waving to his men, beginning the March towards the cathedral, the steeple of which was lost in sickly, greenish fog.
