Dow laughs

Need to be more specific Stanley. I can name 3 monsters that can do that off the top of my head. The ocean is a massive place, with countless creatures in it. Some helpful, some malevolent and some just plain weird. Well moment of truth I suppose.

As the sun finally sets and the waters remain calm Dow looks around, the winds start to die down and the waters go completely still, when suddenly the ships is nearly capsized as a monumental object quickly rises from below, the seas start to grow rough as a giant head is now staring at the ships. The head alone is easily 30 feet tall, with giant glowing eyes staring at the ships-the head is completely pitch black devoid of any color. The rest of the monster is unseen below the waves, but a very massive hand comes up and grips onto the galleon, ready to pull it down as the monster says in a deep rumbling voice.

Give me a barrel. Now.

The monster releases its grip on the ships, grabbing the barrels and with horrifying speed begins attempting to scoop up water to begin flooding the ships-even with no bottom some water still manages to land on board due to the sheer speed, but not enough to slow the ships down. The monster slowly begins to get left behind, as it focuses entirely on scooping the water, and after some time it can no longer reach the ships with it's arms. The monster looks out to the ships and just sinks back down into the waves. Dow laughs in victory

Awesome. None of us died. I think. How is everyone doing?

Dow thinks for a moment

Nothing for a while no. We will be docked by tomorrow evening, long before anything else will show up. Giant sea monsters normally travel alone after all, and that one we just left behind won't bother us again anytime soon.

Once docked, I will escort you to Salipsa to deliver your message, then I will handle my job and we can head back after that.
