How many of you have read these books? I'm currently on the second book, they're absolutely fantastic, especially when listened too.

I have over 300 books on cd. I just cant get into listening to them. I tried to listen to Clan Of The Cave Bear 100 times just not the same as reading for yourself.
But never heard of those books you mentioned.
I like older stuff anyway :D

They're excellent. If you like stories about sailing, I highly recommend you check them out. A more realistic book about the subject doesn't exist.

Are they sequential with recurring characters or each its own novel?

They all contain two main characters but each story brings new characters in

Enjoyed that entire series, not incredibly well written, but superb story telling.
Some people are like Slinkies, totally useless but great fun to watch when you push them down the stairs
