The potential damage is him failing to spot an invasion force. What if this ship were something else?

Carl looks to Agnar and nods.

Yeah, I don't think the lookout made too big a mistake, but I'm only in charge of myself. I ain't got no authority over anyone here. Nor does Brian. And Emily as I said before doesn't care too much what happens unless it involves her or her cave. [/I]

A single cutter begins approaching Valorim, flying a flag with a circle split in half, it signals it wishes to dock, and that they are unarmed and mean no harm. Carl looks at the ship carefully. It looks quite odd-its hull is completely black, and he can't tell whether its simply painted that way or if its some material he's never heard of. The sails are also quite strange, being completely red. It looks like it has no guns or crew, aside from a single person at the helm.

Haha, With the defence and number of men you got here, one ship wouldn't have been such a big threat. But I'm curious to learn about this... Form of life, I may say.

Agnar finished the repairing of the hole and stands up
Hmm, bit much fire a single man to handle such ship. Ain't it?

Jack looks to the cutter.

Spyglass please.

a man hands jack a spyglass, jack takes a long look at hit. He collapses the spyglass and hands it back.

Signal that ship before it enters the harbor, tell it to identify itself, tell it to sail over to the foremost dock, if it does anything funny, tell those frigates to blow it out of the water.

The signals are sent .jack turns.

Yes, but what if it was a ship that actually posed a threat? He could have jeopardized every man jack in this island. I will have no slackness in the execution of orders, not any. He agreed to the rules of his post, and h failed them, so his punishment will be as harsh as our articles require.

Aye, that be true. With your orders given, I get you really don't like that ship? You can borrow some of my 24 pounder carronades... Else, they're just standing here...

Jack shakes his head smiling

I have no need for them, the frigates will solve any problems.

Guess I'll melt them and make long guns out of them then. They'll be fitting my pride better then.

The cutter signals back that it's an old mentor of Emily and Ellen, and wishes to speak to Emily. Brian looks at the figure at the helm through a spyglass, though the figure is wearing quite a few robes and he can't tell who it is. He turns to Jack.

I figure Emily would like to meet this person, ill go get her. But keep cannons aimed at the cutter.

The cutter sails to the dock it was directed too, and the figure gets off the cutter as Emily and Brian go to meet them. The robed figure takes off its robes and appears to be a slightly older woman, with extremely pale skin and dark black hair similar to Emily's. Brian looks immediately enraged while Emily looks a bit surprised. Brian quickly points a gun at her, while Emily lowers his hand down. She asks quite curtly.

Hello Veera, what are you doing here.

Veera laughs.

Can't a woman visit her sister?

Emily smiles.

Yes, but why visit now after a solid 8 years of isolation.

Veera smiles.

Because you spent all your time with Ellen, who would have killed me had she seen me. When I learned of her passing, I figured id pay you a visit.

Emily thinks for a few moments.

Fine. Go stay at the Orphanage building ill take you to my home later.

Veera leaves being escorted by a golem. While Brian whispers to Emily.

Lets just shoot her and be done with it.

Emily shakes her head.

Rather not have my other sister die too.

Jack tune a to Agnar

Quite possibly yes.

The catholic priest walks forward, he's a head talller than jack, he looks to have been a sailor at one time. At his side, he wears a smallsword, which has a strange symbol carved onto its blade, two crosses with a skull in between. He walks over to jack, who is standing at the docks near Veera. He whispers something in Jack's ear, jack nods. Jack steps over to Emily and whispers in her ear.

I thought she lived on this island? Also, why the devil did Bryan point a gun at her? Also, I can only afford one magic user on this island, she had best not cause trouble.
