Role Play- A Village In Valorim

Alrighty everyone this is going to be the more serious Role-play that is going alongside the other more crazy one.

Its set at a 4, so still pretty unrealistic, but some restrictions do apply.
The other rules are as follows.

1. Try to keep things in character. Don't post something unrelated to the RP here. If you don't like this RP, don't complain about it here. Post a new thread or start your own RP thread if you don't like this one. I would actually be quite happy if someone posts a RP of their own so please feel free to do so.
2. You can control your characters actions-You can not control others. NPC's are fair game and anyone can control them, so long as its believable and in character. A guard for example shouldn't just up and decide to shoot an orphan for no reason-that is out of character. Anyone without a name will be considered a NPC, if you name a character but want it to be a NPC then just mention that said character is NPC in quotation marks after a post.
3. You are allowed to have multiple characters- but be reasonable. Don't flood the story with a bunch of your characters. 2 or 3 in one story is fine, anything past that is sort of pushing it unless you are really good at managing them.
4. Use Italics for actions, and try to separate things nice and neat. Also use paragraphs when needed. Quotations if for speaking out of the roleplay.
5. No editing of a post once you post it. The exception is to fix spelling mistakes or minor errors. It can be real annoying when someone posts one thing and another responds to it only to find what they responded too is now completely different.
6. The most important rule- Have fun.

On the large island of Valorim, The starting of a new settlement is well on its way. On the large hill near the center lies a large stone building called Valorim Orphanage, and nearby is a large stone church and tavern. Several more buildings lie nearby, many seeming to be stone houses and a few shops, though many are currently unoccupied. Oggie is currently stocking up his new tavern, while Emily helps oversee the construction of more buildings, using golems to craft them out of stone and wood from nearby. A newly constructed Dock and lighthouse lie on the southern end of the island, as a lookout keeps an eye out for any settlers. Emily smiles at the work that's been done so far. She calls to Oggie and Carl.

Can't wait to see Jack and his men start setting up here. Its somewhat lonely with only a few people to talk to. I sent word to a few other ports too that a settlement was being built here, and that it was selling homes and buildings for cheap. So who knows how many people may show up looking for a new home. Hopefully we can get some people to set up new shops. id like to see a tailor, carpenter, some farmers and a ton of other stuff to get set up here. But i can worry about all that later. Ill be in my cave. Call me if you need me or if you see Jack or another one of my friends coming.

yeah, I normally just copy and paste the rules from the last RP's then make small edits and stuff to fit them into new ones. The last RP had 7 rules, but I only needed 6 for this one, and I forgot to edit the 7 to 6 fixed now thanks.

Edit- After double checking the last one had a rule stating you could only be in one of the roleplays going on, but since the kitchen roleplay is for laughs and isn't serious at all, I don't need that rule for this one. you can literally have the same character in both stories, so long as that character abides to the rules in the story you use them in.-so you can do whatever over in kitchen, but over here your limited.

Why hellow there, my name is Jonn D Moonrockefeller, you musht be thinking why me name be such hideous broek'n personality, so I ye be tell ye a story, you see, me parents like John D Sunrockefeller so much they decided to name me after err, even before they had their %&^*& in their ^&@#*!&^% the name was alr'dy decided, but little did they know, they died right after I was born and never got e'r chance to name me. Until the doctor which was called John D Sunrockefeller decided to name me after him, which is really a funny story because he later throw... me out... into the trash...

The plot holes in the story is so people can ask him question on those points he missed.

Well that certainly stinks mate. Where the bleedin hell did you come from though, havn't seen you before and no ships has come into port lately. That i saw anyway. But regardless what brings ya to Valorim.

Do you mean you didn't read any of the other rp's or you didn't read the first post setting up this story? Its fine if you didn't read the other RP's as that isn't needed, but if you didn't even bothered reading the post that sets up the story then why post at all if your not going to put in any effort into roleplaying.

Well my name is Oggie Menos, I run the new tavern on this island, I moved here after running a tavern in Psaral for 60 years. Figured id like to die on a nice island with fresh air instead of an old cramped city, and this here is Carl Carlson, who was discharged from the navy about 10 years ago and is now currently working as a guard for Emily. Emily is trying to get this island built up into a nice little settlement.
