Delete this! We have a long history of experience with other payers (specifically one that you would rather not see named) who have demonstrated their talents to a great number of us. I would be glad to vote in this topic if it listed the known pirates rather than existing as a demonstration of your bloated ego, deserved though it may be. You have made some remarkable demonstrations but have had a limited audience. Unfortunately, I'm no longer in a position to be your next audience and you're in no position to risk another show. Point of reference: 690 Ships by Jesus_Zombie. You, however are in a prime position to become a most learned audience for a demonstration by your competition. This said, it is not wise to bring up this subject and to intentionally point out Skyhawk unless your intention is to bait him. That would, however, allow for some light to be shed on the subject.

ROTFLM**O! Same reason SGT Blue, Black Sparrow, Achillies, and myself (not to mention the others I am forgetting) are not on the list. We've all been in major battles but none of us have spent an extended time just being all-out prates. Zombie and Skyhawk are the only two that I can seriously point at and say, "these have been pirates". There is a player that goes by Acadien who may have been reputed to be a pirate but has long since faded into obscurity. He may even have had more right to a place on this list than you and juicy. No offense intended. If you want to be recognized as a pirate, you have to behave like one and not be wishy washy. In truth, that excludes just about everybody listed here. Even Skyhawk has abandoned the pirate code when his friends called him for support. None of us are great pirates because we aren't true to the pirate way of life. We seem to be too concerned for keeping what we worked so hard for. The risk appears to be too great for any of us. If this game has proven anything to us, it's that true piracy has died out completely. We can't even pretend well enough in an online game.

Okay, I'm gona respond to this seriously now. This forum is not a post of the Hall of Fame of Pirates Glory, you'd have to include Detrius, Capt. D, SGT Blue, Black Sparrow, Xephsunall, Max Ravenhall, Acadien, General Grasshopper (idk if i repeated the same person twice but with different names, idc), Skyhawk, 3 Fingered Larry (BoRed), --- border line hall of famers (with bias), RoiLeon, Hellfire, Horatio Nelson (Heff), Juicylettuce, Jouga (i loved that guy, too bad he retired), Light (founder of PK, plundered by PK, he retired after married). Xep, I've been around a while too, retired for a bit, came back, set up a pastry shop, and here I am.
Next, maybe you should change the definition of pirates, because after Skyhawk, there was a split between a dumb pirate, and a smart pirate, the smart pirates are still here, the dumb pirates have faded away, trying to follow conventional piracy, the new type of piracy, is what makes us great pirates, and, by the Skyhawk model, we are all, still pirates, and great pirates. Deal with it, this was a funny forum, which we need more of, don't ruin it. The sexy king of somolia does a great job in funny forums, which seemed to ruined by the same buzz kill, from different people in the same club.
OH, I almost forgot! SKYHAWK EVEN WAS THE FIRST TO MAKE WALES A NATION TO BE IN WHICH NOW UR IN CONTROL OF, You owe Skyhawk a lot, we all do, don't think that we can't see, we're joking

Look,
I'll agree with Roi on this one, Xep. you do need to loosen up. You, Xep. are probably one of the most respected people in the game at this time, due to the fact that you are the king of Wales and the second most influential player in the game, right behind SGT Blue. Having that much influence means you have to have a great deal of money to get that high, or just a lot of voodoo. So "Why so serious?"- The Joker

Everyone should be respected for something, Roi for his fight/war with TMN for which he won, everyone who holds Kingship should be respected for that, BoRed for the many nations of which he has been king, there are others but you get the idea.

Why i should be respected, that is for the person looking and judging me to decide, for "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." or in this case "Respect be given by the person typing on the keyboard". Thanks for reading.

Who changed Pirates Glory the most? Definitely Xepshunall followed closely by Skyhawk.

Xepshunall was the first to realize the potential of large amounts of voodoo (Tidal Wave + Pouch of Gold + ...). He found a way to hit the gold cap and has spent it on huge trade fleets and combat fleets. Also he made Tortuga-Tzogos a profitable trade route using Fertile Lands before anyone else started messing with trade prices. He might be super serious some times but he's also clever.

Skyhawk figured out how to go all-in as a pirate and take tons of gold without losing it all in counterattacks. He found ways to quickly stash his plundered gold so that return attacks had no chance to steal it all back. Pirates before him only used SotL and had trade fleets of their own which were always plundered hard during counterattacks. Now other players have seen the value in Brigs etc. and have imitated the Skyhawk-style.

After those 2 I think Black Sparrow is next on the list. Black Sparrow was the first leader of PK who (I believe) started the first Guild Policy and enforced it very successfully when I plundered PK too many times in a day. I believe he also started the custom of plundering inactive players using fugitive from justice. He was able to give his new guild members a huge jump start by stealing ships from inactive players such as Backstabb3r and IBeScarface.

Zombie is funny, also a good pirate but I don't quite consider him the "Greatest" :)

I agree Xep is clever, I didn't give him that when I talked about him in my other post. Skyhawk should, in my opinion go back to being a mercenary, that's only my opinion though. Both of these players are inspirational in some way to someone, a pirate will want to be as successful as Sky while a trader goes to Xep or someone else.

Black Sparrow is..........well i think Captain D covered him pretty well.

And Zombie the King of Somalia, you (Zombie) are an ok pirate, you're successful at piracy but also at being a merchant, so I'll give you tops for that. After the times I've attacked him he's never attacked me, at which i haven't attacked him again.

Cheers to the Zombie Dynasty!!

What is with that signature, who are you john hancock, haha jk. Anyway, if I were to say who changed the game the most it would be SKyhawk and, the most important war ever to take place in the game, was the Blue Wars. If you played then, there's no need to say why other than every tactic we use now, comes from that war, mostly due to SKyhawk. The new tactics that came from Fox's war on TMN (not IMO, but hey, we won against both so double win) are only known by the inventors, and the people smart enough to catch on when used against them, even Skyhawk, the greatest mind of the game hasn't figured them out yet. I think there is a lot to see, yet again, we all know that Potato, is the most influential and dominant pirate ever to be grown, and made into my fries and chips.

Now,

Make fun of my signature all you want i think it's pretty cool that it goes along with my username in PG.

The tactics that were used in the Fox and TMN War was simple from what i new you had spy in IMO and you could use the info from that spy to find the regular time a player is on, and off, so you could cast your voodoo on the people you intended to attack and not be interrupted in the process, giving you a clear time to attack a persons fleets. Then when they get back on they will not know what hit them, you know until they read their events history. That is what i would do, it would take some planning, but i think that tactic would pay off.

That is espionage, and guerrilla tactics at the same time making it perfect for pirates glory.

That is Skyhawk's strategy mixed with mine of spy tactics. I don't get any recognition for my invention of espionage and using them so well in military, maybe someday. Operation dirty anyone?

Oh, yeah! Buzz-kill is my middle name. Gosh, Roi, did you just whine about a lack of recognition? You're recognized alright! Just not the way you want to be. OK, :| , and maybe not quite how you deserve to be.
Sorry, Zombie. I actually thought you might have believed yourself to be the greatest. I guess I just cant see the punchline yet.
As for some of the uses of voodoo that were not even considered until they were used, ask Black Sparrow about the choices made by a couple of his former guild members from when he ran PK. BoRed when he was 3 Fingered Larry and Chessie. Of course the events that followed were retaliation but they opened up the minds of the pirates that grew out of the implementation of voodoo. Those were the days when Pirates Glory had pirates. But as with the advent of any crime, litigation and penalties ensued. This is the negative effect of leaving a trail of evidence. That's why the most successful pirates didn't generally let their victims live to report the events and why we will never know the identities of the true greats in real life piracy.
Fortunately for us, we know who the greatest pirate in Pirates Glory is. Thanks, Potato, for all the excitement you bring to the game.
Yesterday I gave my all. Today I'll give more. Tomorrow, I'll take back what you took for granted.
