Timer to monitor danger reduction

Postby Jolly Dodger » Tue Jun 07, 2016 11:35 am

i would like to suggest that a countdown timer is added to fleets so players would know when the danger rating on a fleet is due to reduce.
there does not appear to be enough space on the full fleet list, but may be it can be inserted after the danger rating on individual fleet info.

Not needed because danger goes -1 every hour so fleet with 18 DP will go on 0 in 18 hours if noone attacks it. So it's easy to calculate without of timer

This works.

We could perhaps put it on a popup on danger but it feels like an excess option by the time that the Danger Rating title above has a pop-up title that explains everything.

What he means is that one danger point disappears every hour on the hour. So at 1am, 2am, 3am and so on. So you can just use the clock at the bottom of the page.
We are still hoping to get a more visable clock at the top of the page someday.
I don't know, it seems to me if they ain't got you one way they got you another,
So what's the answer? that's what I keep asking myself, what's it all about?
Know what l mean?

You need to consider the feelings of the current clock. It has served you faithfully all this time and now you seek to replace it.

i was under the impression that the danger is added to a fleet when it enters a port, i also know it takes one hour for one point of danger to be removed, therefore surely if a fleet enters a port at say 15.38 the danger will not reduce until the time reaches 16.38.
the reason i asked for the countdown is if you do not know the exact time a ship entered a port then you cannot work out the time it will take for the danger to expire by one.

It will remove 1 point at top of hour. So if you enter in port at 16:59 at 17:00 it will remove that 1 point

So Danger does not last for one hour, so why say it does why not state i unit of danger will be removed on reaching the hour mark.

I believe it is suposued to be like that but due the code and things it goes like at top of hour. Same goes for fujis they suposued to give 1 DP per card each hour but they count at top of hour so either change things in code or change descripctions
