Well well well...U must love reading and doing the research.

Do you still believe in 'FREEDOM OF SPEECH'??. It just a made up crap implemented by democratic country. Whoever won the seats will have a say whether you like it or not. If you don't like it, just change the leadership on the next parliament.

Malaysia is not a signatory to the 1951 Refugee Convention. Consequently, there is no formal process for seeking asylum, and the government does not distinguish between refugees and undocumented migrants. With more than 100K of them spawning in my country is becoming a headache u know. We were unable to deport them for years as Myanmar (most of refugee came from them) doesn't want them. And Y the hell we need to waste our resources on them.

As for free resources (education/healthcare/transportation). well my mistake. It's not completely free of charge but almost free of charge. It's not within the level that you will be in risk of bankruptcy just to be admitted in hospital due to high admission fees.Even the poor citizens are not afraid to get help for medication and so on becoz it's affordable.

As for tariffs, the previous deal already void dude. The 24% (or 19%) specific reciprocal deal is no longer valid due to the U.S. Supreme Court ruling. Malaysia is no longer bound to the specific concessions of the ART, but both countries are now navigating the new 10% U.S. blanket tariff policy. 10% still high but it's manageable. We can survive that.

Government link company are never good. Mostly due to corruption. It's hard to tackle the corruption unless we follow China which imposed a death penalties. Rate of corruption in their country improves significantly due to this law. Still, there's still corruption occur even this penalty were applied which show how hard it is to fully overcome this shit.

Well, 18B is good number considering that my country is a small asian guy. When factoring in the total civilian population (per capita), Malaysia generally derives a higher direct fiscal benefit from oil profits relative to its population size compared to the United States, due to the centralized, state-owned nature of its oil industry. Yeah, the price keep increasing now but we still paid the same price as 1 years ago due to government subsidies. Well, whose fault is it that poke the hornet nest.
I remember hearing that they will end the war immediately and it's an easy war. Completely bullshit, Been drag for weeks now. Just two weeks into the war, Trump has resorted to begging other countries for assistance in securing the Strait of Hormuz. If it an easy war surely you can manage it on your own. Y drag others into the pit hole.

Hopefully we can see some nuclear dildo in action soon. Been waiting for this dude. A major event in my lifetime. I might not live long when that happened but still out of curiosity I want to see what will happened afterwards.

Ah well Mr. Vega we are the most powerful military in the world we do not need assistance. I think Trump was testing NATO to finalize pulling out. And according to his post on X on Easter morning we will bomb power plants and bridges unless Iran opens the Strait. We will be okay. We have boots on the ground. Sorry I mean we sent the marines. As for the length it was just a miscalculation or it was misspeak.

As for the war you are on a delayed schedule the request for minesweepers is so last week.
You seem to forget this war was set to be done in 6 to 8 weeks and we havent reached that timeline. Regardless of when we pull out, Iran will still be almost as weak as Malaysia at that time. :D :D :D :D
I notice you didnt address the one-sided provision for citizens depending on where you live, :D :D :D

No one, not Trump or anyone in his administration said the war would end immediately-now maybe someone said something hyperbolic-exaggerating about how fast it would be-but actual estimations were not that it would be over 'immediately'. They estimated a timetable of 6-8 weeks if I recall correctly. Look at the rate of fire Iran is capable of now compared to when it started-from several hundred missile attacks, to just a few dozen recently. Missile crews having an over 50% death rate each time they launch an attack since the moment they do so-they're typically spotted and blown up in return fire. Iran requesting aid from Iraq and other neighbors to send in more manpower.

Also, the US is suggesting that countries who often USE the Strait, to step in to help secure it-the US doesn't rely on it like Europe and a lot of Asian countries do-yes some of our ships trade through it, but it's more of a vital route to the Eastern Hemisphere in all honesty. Asking other countries to step in to secure it also tests our allies-we are now seeing many Nato members not ONLY refuse to aid us-but openly deny us the use of military bases that we jointly owned. Why do you think Trump is talking about leaving NATO? What good is an alliance that is one sided?

Edit-lol Dman beat me to it with the 6-8 weeks point. :D

See we are in week number 5..so then if you stick by the time table it should end in a few days to two weeks or logically it will end when it ends.

Although the NATO alliance was strictly for Russian Expansion, expansion only meaning territory period. I have no idea why people still have the misconception that that rule applies to other countries America is at war with even if they get assistance from Russia. Big deal. We assist everyone too. Shit we sell armaments to Russia ourselves I mean. Besides why should another country fight for us. Are we Israel? We do not need assistance. We are doing what we do.

Meliva wrote:Ok-you are indeed very bloody misinformed. Renee good LITERALLY hit the Ice agent-he had bruises on his body-as for why he was standing in front he was walking past it and probably didn't think she was going to try to drive away-you can even hear her wife or partner yell "DRIVE BABY DRIVE" when she was TOLD to get out-after impeding their work. You don't get to harass and make a law enforcements job harder and then cry victim when they decide to arrest you and you DEFINITELY don't get to just drive off and ram into one of them and expect to not get your brain blown out-Alex Pretti-was also told by his own FAMILY NOT TO GO PROTEST-and that if he really DID INSIST he does so- to at LEAST do NOT go ARMED-again-Darwin award-he was on video damaging federal property in an incident a while before this.

And yes-Ice agents are using unmarked vehicles and wearing masks. Probably because a lot of idiots are doing whatever they can to stop them from doing their damn jobs, harassing them, their families, and threatening them.

If a law enforcement tells you to do something-just do it-running will make it worse-resisting will make it worse-fighting back will make it worse-fight it in COURT. Jesus-the way some people think you act like they're going to just draw their gun and blow your brains out for looking at them funny-so long as you are polite, respectful and comply, you're going to have a much easier time. Yes some times there is police brutality-but it's an outlier and an exception not the bloody norm.

What exactly do YOU damn well suggest that is better then complying with law enforcement-go on-tell me-I'm all ears. Let's see what you think people should do if ICE tells them to come with them.

What source says he had bruises on his body? From the two videos I watched that seems unclear. I will attach them here though. That agent probably was hit by the car but it looks unclear from what videos I have seen out there. The agent walks in front of the car stands in front of Renee Good's car at least from the video I watched and then stops right in front before pulling his gun.

Sure it would have made more sense for Alex Pretti not to bring his gun along but again, he was fully restrained and pepper sprayed, then had his gun taken off him and only after every danger was removed did the agent shoot him not once, which could be considered an accident at a stretch but multiple times. Now I'm no great expert on American law but that seems to be unlawful.

If you think ICE agents wearing masks is good then I'm not sure why you would think that. If ICE agents do the wrong thing then it is highly unlikely they will be identified and punished for whatever wrong thing they have done. There is a reason why most Police forces DO NOT wear masks. I think if masked police in unmarked vehicles were to roll up beside me when I am walking on the road I think it would be reasonable for me to be scared, panic and wonder what they want. Panic then leads to people doing stupid things sometimes.
Yes of course police brutality is not the norm.

My understanding is that NATO is technically a defensive alliance not an offensive one. Therefore NATO participating is completely voluntary.

Now this next part of what I am going to say I cannot really back up with facts and is my opinion. But the reason I think other countries do not want to send ships is due to several reasons.
1. Most countries don't have a huge amount of ships so what they send will be in limited numbers
2. The narrowness of the strait. I am sure a significant amount of Iran's anti ship missiles and launch capabilities have been degraded or destroyed. But the fact is any ships escorting tanker not only need to protect the tankers from attack but also themselves. While I am sure most countries ships are capable of doing that, if even one of their ships is damaged or sunk it is a bad look domestically for most countries
3. It seems like there is not a clear set plan of what will happen in the future. Iran while having it's military capabilities degraded seems to not be wanting to stop and I don't think more air strikes will solve that issue. While it's government has stability issues it does not seem like the government is facing regime collapse or change in leadership. I think some countries are afraid the only way to resolve this is a ground invasion of Iran and that supporting US forces with their navy and/or air force will be taken by Donald Trump as a sign that their country will join you in a ground war which I don't think any country wants to do at the moment. Except for Uganda apparently. :D

Don't dodge the Question Lachlan I asked you at the end of my post. Answer it. I'll ask it again here. I'll even ask it again at the end of this post too.

What exactly do YOU damn well suggest that is better than complying with law enforcement-go on-tell me-I'm all ears. Let's see what you think people should do if ICE tells them to come with them.

It's not simply the fact that our allies are not helping us-it's the fact that they are actively UNDERMINING our ability-refusing to let us use their airspace, or use bases that are jointly owned-Basically saying-no you can't use them, and no you can't fly over us to get to your destination-that isn't the act of an ally-a proper ally would, if not willing to join in, would at least say -oh yeah sure-land your planes here to restock and junk-you pay for most of this after all. They can't even do THAT for us-when WE pay for most of the crap in the first place.

And as promised-I'll ask you again-since you seem to think complying with law enforcement isn't a viable solution but have yet to say what is a better alternative.

What exactly do YOU damn well suggest that is better than complying with law enforcement-go on-tell me-I'm all ears. Let's see what you think people should do if ICE tells them to come with them.

Well I ‘ll be damned..Iran says eff you to Trumps ceasefire and warnings of destruction while threatening to close Bab El Mandab..interesting twists for a country that appears to not have the upper hand.

1) Lachlan answer Mel’s question before she loses her mind.

2) NATO “undermining” is NATO not shitting where they eat. They get a substantial
Amount of oil from Iran. It’s a bad ask.

They get a lot more from the US then they do from Iran. They don't seem to mind shitting where they eat with that relationship. The majority of NATO funding comes from the US-most of the military power in NATO is from the US-it would be one thing for them to not want to send boots on the ground-that's normal and understandable-this isn't Russia, and we were not attacked first-it's also still somewhat understandable they don't send ships to secure the Strait-yes, they rely on it more than we do, and it would be prudent for them to send ships to help secure it, but again, not a defensive war, so if they don't care if its' closed, I can't really fault them when they do nothing to secure it. However, to openly state, to the US-that they will NOT allow the US to use bases in their countries-bases that, let's be honest-we tend to pay for most of the costs of maintaining and arming, that is not understandable. At all. There is no substantial risk involved, no cost to it, it's just a **** move, to spite the US, and make the war a little more inconvenient-which, to do that to a nation that is supposedly your Ally, really shows that this is a one way relationship-and perhaps it's time to reevaluate some things.
