Veera get's a very big smile on her face as she reappears in front of Maguanto and politely gestures to the gateway

Your freedom. Which, is quite easily more valuable then anything you have in this cave wouldn't you agree? You let us go and fight Gaster. If we lose, simply say that we snuck in while you were out hunting for food, or while you slept. You end up avoiding having to hunt us down and kill us, while I constantly insult you as you try to do so, and you suffer no consequences. While if we WIN, well then you get freedom. No more having to take orders from some eldritch being that bosses you around. No matter what, it's a win win for you. Nothing to lose, everything to gain.

Perhaps... Very well. But get out of here before I change my mind.

Veera quickly turns to the others and shots

You heard him, let's haul ass. Dragons are like me on my monthly-prone to quick and sudden-often violent mood swings and changing their mind.

Emily, 3 and Eloth quickly move forward and go to the archway and wait for Thomas to open the way to the void.

He pulled a strange key forged from a odd black metal from his coat, inserting it into one side of the archway. A pillar rose up from the ground, and he poured the vial of Lizzie's blood into it. With an ear bursting boom, the space under the archway was filled with this...complete absence of, well, everything.

The Void. It all ends here.

He walked in.

Emily whispers to Veera as 3 and Eloth and the other men go in

you, uh, can get us back from the void right? With teleportation?

Veera whispers back

I believe so yes. Not 100% sure, regardless be sure to cover me. Other then me, only Vune and Gaster could send us back if this doorway closes. Unless Thomas or his friend have a way out. Here have a gift. Open it if me and Vune die and you all get stuck. No sooner, no later.

Veera confidently walks in after handing Emily a small box, and Emily follows in after. Leaving the room with just Maguanto alone.

As Veera left, the dragon watched her leave, a strange look in his eye.

What kind of spell did she cast on me?

He grumbled, sinking back into his sea of treasure.

Eloth looks around the void, for any signs of Vune or Gaster. He grabs a nearby man, snaps his leg and tosses him as far as he can, as bait. The poor man screaming as he is flung off with no way of moving. Emily just sighs as she looks to Thomas

So what now?

The void reshaped itself into a massive hall, composed of that same black metal. Braziers lit with green fire lit a tall dais on which sat a throne composed of cast iron spikes of different heights. A skeleton in a familiar crimson suit stared down at them, a bemused expression on his face.

Well well well. Look who we have here. Shark Teeth, Tin Man, Goody Good, and Mountain Lady. And let's Not forget Steel Brains!

Emily looks genuinely confused as she looks around

Wait, am I goody goody? That sounds more like my sister Ellen. She was a nun you know. I'm more, chaotic neutral for your information.

Veera just laughs

Who cares what Asster calls us? He's a Helvune family Reject. Got his arse kicked outta the family for a reason you know. Though, I suppose, you are not really "HIM" are you? more a strange amalgamation, or just whatever eldritch void being he was stupid enough to make a deal with puppeteering him around. Regardless, hope you've enjoyed your long sad existance Asster. It will end soon enough, one way or another. Ooh, wanna have a roast battle? See who can insult and roast the other side better? I got plenty of insults and disses to hit you with.

For a moment, Gaster's face seemed... conflicted. His empty sockets seemed to plead with the group. The whatever controlled him regained control, and they became bemused once more.

I see somebody's done their research! But no. Insults, I'm afraid, aren't something I'm very good at. Raw magical ability, however? That I excel at.

With a wave of his hand, he bashed Emily against a wall, and sent hundreds of bone and cast iron spikes At the others. The final battle had begun.
