Net Neutrality Repeal Passes in FCC

The FCC has decided to gut the Net neutrality law and we are in trouble. What are your guys' thoughts on this? I personally don't want to pay $9.50 to watch some youtube videos. This is absurd!!!

probably the largest internal USA thing to go on it over shadows even that of trump getting elected.

With net neutrality being repealed the USA and most of the rest if not all of the rest of the world should pay attention with these gone at least from the FCC (there's still congress and that's the last stand) well with them gone internet expenses will go up this is probably the worst thing to happen to the internet that can possibly happen. this basically gives the internet monopoly's more power over there consumers. and the internet monopolies s**k here they give crappy service for an insane rate already.

Correct. The FCC (Federal Communication Commission), well more specifically Ajit Pai, has had his proposal to repeal net neutrality passed and now Congress here has to pass it to make it official.

Net neutrality is basically freedom to use internet with no pay. Ajit wants people to pay for internet usage at a cost of 9.50 per package. A package is a classification of what you are looking up, such as an entertainment package, education package, or even job packages. Each package is a separate order. Also, the FCC controls what is in this package, which is dystopian to freedoms. Basically, the monopoly internet controllers can control what we see and if something hurts their feelings, they can hide it from society. USA is the land of the fee instead of free now...

I dont really want to delve into politics to much here, but the "Net neutrality" regulations that were put in place under Obama had nothing to do with "neutrality".

The way the regulations were written, it basically consolidated power over internet data to 5 or 6 major corporations. It eliminated competition. A truly "Neutral" internet needs to be completely free of government interference. Do not be fooled by the name of the regulation. It was a sham from the outset.
