AVONMORA's AMAZING RACE - $10 Billion in trade celebration!

Ahoy! Over the past few years, I have been trading gold bars like a madman. Soon I will be the first to have a single fleet with $10,000,000,000 in trade profit. To celebrate I have created a small contest and will be giving away 1% of that trade profit. For all those who are not mathematicians… That's $100,000,000 in gold coin!!

I have come up with an “Amazing Race” of sorts for Avonmora. There will be SEVEN legs to this race. Each leg will have a winner of course and they will earn a reward. However, after each leg the race begins anew, giving all a fair chance at the grand prize. Of course the winner of each leg will have a small time advantage over others as is the same in the TV show. In addition, I will be adding an “Easter Egg” for completing each task. If you complete all the tasks and put the Easter Egg together, it could spell A GREAT REWARD for some lucky person. Again, you don’t have to win each leg, just finish them to earn the Easter Eggs.

These tasks will be of varying difficulty. Some will be puzzle like in nature, others will require you to use Ships, Voodoo, Game Knowledge and more.

I am projecting to reach the $10 billion in trade mark in about 2 weeks. I am finalizing a few last task items, but I should have the Race launched just after the New Year! I hope you all look forward to this new game and I hope, like the Draft, it inspires others to create a community event to celebrate Pirates Glory!

Is it individuals only or can we compete in some team of our choosing?

I will only be paying out $100,000,000 to 1 person. If that person chooses to split it with another, that is up to them.

I will say however, some of the tasks can not be performed in a team setting. A few could I suppose, but this is meant to be a single player game.

Congratulations. You are 5th of the way there. You are lucky no one wants to attack your gold fleet. That seems to be your specialty though.

Regarding your fleets profit, I agree that it's an impressing number. If is, however, hardly true "profit", I think, as I suspect your fleet loads gold bars from port warehouse and sells it from fleet. Still, 10B in sold gold bars are a decent number of gold bars. With an estimate of 2000 gc per gold bar, that means you have sold 5 M gold bars from that fleet! I guess I've been too busy with other endeavors to hunt that fleet, unfortunately.
