(Rare) Witch Hunt

Duration: 24 hours

Avenge 3 (both duration and effect multiplier)

If target player has no ships in fleet, voodoo casts cost twice the amount of turns to cast.

Are there any reason to have no ships in fleets? Even if I wanted to go full witch doctor, I'd keep a fleet or two of cutters with the levi protect feat.

I believe this card would never really have any targets.

And even if there was a target, what would be the point of this card? Maybe to scare off witch doctors?

I honestly don't think that a card that just doubles turns cost for voodoo with no conditions would be OP.

Maybe get rid of the "target player has no ships in a fleet" part and just double turns. Instead possibly have NoPirate?

So it provide Avenge 3 for all other active curses against said target.

And if target player has no ships in a fleet, the target player's voodoo casts cost double turns.

No. If I’m reading what you said right, It only increases the duration of the initial Witch hunt and the multiplier for the cost of turn casting. Will not multiply the effects of other cards durations or effects.

Well I suppose that it could just make voodoo cast ON YOU by target player could be doubled?

That's still a good card. It ruins the option for pirates to operate alone. Forces them to always be a team.

Considering to edit to have it where it’ll be 3 times as much for no ships and 2 times the cost if you have ships instead.
