The bullets go into the cave, though nothing happens. Brian brandishes his shield and mace, and Carl follows behind him into the cave. The moment they get near they instantly feel sick to their stomach as an incredibly rancid horrid smell comes from the cave. Their is trash and mucky liquid on the ground- It smells like rancid sewer water, mixed with decade old food, and was then cooked into a disgusting broth. The gunk goes up to Brian's knees, as he trudges through it. Some of the bugs seem to be emerging from it, and quickly rush the group.

Rhena really want the ports to die, eh?
Anyways, think we found the deepest wall in this lair?

brain just laughs,

We barely set foot in here. So I don't think so.

Deeper in the cave some very loud noises can be heard, along with a bit of rumbling. Brian and Carl begin heading further into the cave, keeping an eye out for any more bugs. After a while, a large swarm of them come pouring out of holes around the group. Some also begin emerging from under the goop below them. Carl just curses as he gets ready to fight.

Oh good lord, I'm gonna need a week long bath after this.

Agnar and Mikkel follows up. Agnar laughs briefly, while he prepares for the next wave

Carl laughs as he starts smashing bugs back, and Brian covers his flank.

Maybe a year if this keeps up.

More bugs begin swarming from behind, going toward Mikkel and Agnar.

[Jack Teach]

Jack, the priest and his men come forward, firing their rifles, whilst jack wields two pistols, a dirk in his teeth.

The bugs burrow into the filth and retreat, As the group goes deeper into the cave, the sounds get louder, until they enter a very large cavern deep in the cave. It's a rather interesting site. Huge shafts are dumping filth, muck and sewer water into the center of the chamber, where very large metal golems stir it up, and several crystals heat the mixture-making a very pungent, noxious gas, causing most of them to retch, and many of the men vomit. There seems to be thousands if not millions of bugs in the filth, ranging from mouse sized to dog sized. Many of the bugs are continually laying eggs into the filth, and Brian just wretches in disgust before turning to the group.

Jesus, its a damn good thing we got here now, if this place isn't dealt with quick, it will take an army to deal with this infestation.

Near a wall in the back, a large red X has been painted on it, with a sign nearby stating, Deep wall. The bugs notice the group and begin crawling up to attack them. Brian and Carl move forward to block them.

Jack's men form a line.

Fire!

Jack's front men fire a volley, then the next line comes forward and fires, this repeats. The shots are not coordinated nor crisp, but effective. Jack fires his pistols.

The bugs quickly burrow down into the filth, where the bullets can no longer reach them and begin moving very fast toward the group, attacking and biting their feet and knees, Brian slams his shield down along with his mace to keep them away from his legs, but the musket men don't have time to get melee weapons out before the bugs are on them. Carl quickly smashes his fists into the muck trying to keep the bugs away from his legs, but the muck slows them down making it hard to fight these things.

[Jack Teach]

Jack's men begging stabbing the bugs with bayonets. Jack pulls out his sword and begins to stab them as well.
