Emily eventually comes back along with one of her mage friends, who hands her quite a few potions. She turns to the others before speaking.

I got my friend Ell here to whip up some potions. I figured since whispers don't affect the dead, then the logical thing would be to have you be undead. These potions, will for a time stop your heart, but enable you to still do things, basically making you a walking corpse for a few hours, then your heart will start beating again, and your back to being fine and healthy.

Brian looks a bit concerned as he speaks up.

I don't suppose you have a plan B? I'm not sure I like the idea of dying, even if it is temporary.

Emily thinks for a moment before Ell speaks up.

Dow is great at mind magic, maybe she could keep them out. Veera knows a crap ton about curses and might know something too. When i head back to the guild ill send them your way.

Emily thanks him as he leaves. Ellen floats back in looking a bit tired.

That damn ghost chased me halfway to Thorokas, before giving up. You all okay?

Honestly just want to shove a sword into what's responsible.

Mikkel smiles in agreement

Jack the priest exchange weary glances. The priest says:

I'll not be drinking in potions.

Mikkel snorts

God sake, ya'll scared?

Mikkel empties the bottle quickly

Not tasting good, that I tell ya'

Brian sighs as he looks to Emily as he holds the potion.

Well. I don't know that Ell fellow, but I trust you, so if you say the potion is safe then it must be safe.

He downs the potion, and Carl just shrugs and downs his. A slight pain happens in their chest, but fades pretty quick. brian checks his pulse and feels nothing. He walks out and hears no whispers. Emily just looks to Jack and the priest before speaking.

You 2 don't need to drink the potions if you don't want to. You can wait here for Dow or Veera to arrive and maybe they can offer a different solution. But honestly, since both of them will probably offer magic to keep the whispers out, I doubt you'll take either.

She looks to Ellen.

Don't suppose you have any holy solutions sis?

She thinks for a few moments, and nods.

Well, I know of a few holy charms the nuns used, I had one myself. Stay right here.

She quickly fades away, and a moment later fades back in, holding 2 rosary bead necklaces and tosses them to Jack and the priest.

Just a heads up, that is not a gift, I expect to get those back. But for now, we should probably start heading into that cave. I will go lure most of the undead away right quick. Good luck.

Ellen quickly flies out and Emily starts heading there as well.

They put the necklaces on, thanking Ellen
