Explanation of Lefty's joke:
The boy keeps choosing the 2 smaller silver coins because if he chooses the gold one then the man will stop playing the game (thinking the boy is finally wising up and so can't show how stupid he is anymore) meaning that the boy won't get any money. So instead of getting a large 1 time only gain, he chooses a consistent smaller gain that will last longer, and choosing the gold one, would end that, or "the game". I thought it was hilarious and I am really enjoying this contest.
