Sir Roberts incapable of posting quality player guides

Anything related to in-game diplomacy (and beyond) can be brought here.
Guild news and announcements, war declarations, recruitment, military service offerings, etc.

Flaming is expected here. If you are easily offended, avoid this thread all together.

Oh, and in keeping in line with the topic, can the new players whom the kid has trained, kindly speak up. I'm sure we all want to see at least a few players backing him up, otherwise we can't tell if his "player guides" are even the least bit beneficial.

Give me a fair bit of time...
Here is a list of what players i have trained
- Monkey D Luffy
- RedSonjia
- Prostidude
- Anburgh
- Manuel
- Redbard
- Calradia
- Sir Johnny
And at one time i did train RedJack02

For a person that posts 10 times in 2 years, i do not think he says it just to hear the sound of his sweet voice...

Long time ago i started a guild with Sir Roberts. There were no guides to read in our guild. That cause Sir Roberts was talking and explaining the game in each individual personally. He is quite dedicated player when he puts a goal. That detraction taking place now is nothing more than hate, of those that lost gold recently by him. I believe that you do more good on Sir Roberts by changing the name of the thread than bad. :) He will get those new players eventually and train them. ;) And when the well trained soldiers will rise......... bouxaxaxaxaxaxaxa 3:)
I'm here to listen, everybodys beliefs. What i'm expressing, is only my opinion. The name "Dragon" comes from the Greek "drakeîn" meaning "to see clearly".

Sir Colchian Niveus, first of his kind. The White Dragon, Lord.

Well, we can see the personal issues involved here, but what has that to do with the topic? The worth, or otherwise, of his guides? That's what got posted and is what should be commented on : a guide for helping new players along their early path : I don't see that much wrong with it : offer advice, encouragement, rewards, be companionable : that's sound advice from anyone.

You can argue the mechanics of it, which order to do things, how big the rewards should be, etc, etc... but as a framework, its solid enough.

I try to learn from every-one, friend or foe, new player or veteran : One cant know everything and some-times a different view sparks an idea for a new approach to an old problem. Some-times the lesson is what NOT to do, as much as what TO do : sometimes defeats teach us more than simple victories : and sometimes watching others learn, question, compete and battle and how they go about it offers up valuable insights, some of which can be game-changing until the counter-move comes along.

So, yes, in that way you have 'trained' me, as have a lot of others, often unwittingly!

I will investigate the claims made in this forum. Until then, I'm locking the thread.

I am unlocking the thread. I have found no direct rule violation in the current posted "Player Guides" of Sir Roberts.
Captain Jack wrote:If you do not approve a guide/advice, you can still post and mention your disapproval. Simply skip any flaming towards the author. You can still reject his guide without flaming him. For example; "This guide does not seem helpful at all and I do not trust the author either. Perhaps you should do this instead: url to redirect or your advice"

If in the scenario that a player guide is reported for containing content that is misleading, flaming, or is potentially damaging to the retention rate of player, then that guide will be reviewed and, possible taken down.
