What happened to your title you gave yourself for trying to rank in all nations? Emperor of all things Stupid was it? King of the fucking universe? I forget.

I was making an attempt to be emperor of avonmora with all kingships Acquired. Since that hasnt happened? Its not a self title.

It is my hope by next draft to be a warehouse man and purveyor of skilled plant workers.

Other than a few purchased warehouse goods to keep workers fed and watered, not too much else needed other the plant permissions and a few Fertile Land cards and a few party cards.

Perhaps the odd fleet moving from time to time to move GB for plant upkeep but we'll see when I get there.

If Valar just popped online today before Henry Avery's draft pick, by the standard of him logged in, he would be active and thus eligible as a draft pick. So Henry Avery should be able to select Valar as he is active because he logged in?

Exactly! Most of the selected players are on the lists because of their old glory, not because they are active today. And we all (I mean old players) know how Valar was dangerous using woodoo cards and he deserved the place for his infamous playing. So, if he deicide to return in Avonmora today, I would consider him an active player.

On one hand, I agree with Dez. The rules were laid out in the OP. What constitutes an "active" player was defined. Basically, it was whatever Dez himself felt was active. On this point, he followed the rules and guidelines as he laid out, based on his own opinion and subject only to his own determination.

By that standard, Sebena is not eligible.

Now the hypocrisy.....

Who is eligible to be drafted and the guidelines of how you could deem yourself not eligible.

Basically.... follow these guidelines if you don't want to be included in the draft....... blah blah blah.

Do this by this time and contact one of these people if you want to be excluded and I the almighty omnipotent Dez will respect and grant your request....... except if I make a mistake and it would require me to admit my own mistake publicly...... then I will not grant your request.

So.....basically, we follow the rules only when Dez determines the rules make him look good and all-knowing and all-powerful, and when and only when, following the rules Dez lays out does not make him look bad in any way.

...... funny thing ..... the only people affected by Dez decisions seem to be Sebena and me........ hmmmmmmm..... wonder why that is.

You are forgetting that Black Sparrow and Captain Cudeggs were disqualified and Cudeggs logged on a few days after his pick. Too bad for him. Still have yet to hear from Sebena. So if he were to log on what is Dez supposed to do? How long are we supposed to hold up the game for one person?

I don't care about how long things take. Either the guides and rules laid out in the OP matter or they don't.

If they matter then Sebena and BS should not be eligible. But then those who wish to be excluded should have been excluded as well.

Since that did not happen then both BS and Sebena should be eligible.

After all, eligibility is arbitrary at best and solely based on what Dez decides based only on his idea of what makes someone eligible and only if it shows him in a good light without him having to admit he made a mistake of any kind.

....... once again it seems the determinations of admin and its reps only depends on who is affected.
