Carl sighs as he get's up

Well Ryan, time to go do some more work. You be careful with that dreadbolt chap. If he tries anything, you have my permission to blow his brains out. Just don't get yourself killed.

The men go to the docks to prepare for the trip. Both write a few letters and send them via messenger pigeons.

A boat was waiting at the docks for Ryan, as the gargantuan Dreadnought was forced to anchor in the bay due to the ram on the bow.

The fleet begins to assemble outside port. There’s around 80 sloops, 60 brigs, 35 war galleons, 3 flag galleons, and six frigates. Jack rows out two his sleek 30 gun frigate “Katerina.” He does a quick inspection of the vessel and then has his men check the two fourteen gun Bermuda sloops “Sophie” and “Amelia.”

Ryan sighs as he goes aboard Dreadbolt ships. Carl meanwhile goes onto his flag galleon and does final inspection.

Dreadbolt was at the vessel's helm, tall and proud in a crimson and gold greatcoat. He barked rapidfire orders to the scurrying sailors on deck, getting the ship underway. Very quickly for a ship her size, she was turned around and pointed out of the bay, at which point the crimson sails came down the masts, revealing a design- a large, golden fleur-de-lis graced the vessel's mainsails, though to many an onlooker the vessel likely appeared to be a gaudy eyesore. Once the sails were down, she sailed smoothly from the bay and joined the rest of the fleet, a giant amongst mice.

Carl has his flagship sail in the rear, while his cutter takes off to serve as a scout, the war galleon sailing beside the flag. His trade galleon meanwhile is near the middle of the fleet formation, carrying supplies and food for the other ships.

John orders his men to raise anchor and set sail to rendezvous with the rest of the fleet just outside the harbor. After a short while the Ship of the Line and Large Frigate rendezvous with another Large Frigate not far outside of the harbor. John looks furious as two ships, a cutter and his flagship are not waiting with Large Frigate. and calls for the Captain of the second Large Frigate.

The captain arrives onboard the Ship of the Line. John angrily asks..

Captain! Where is my flagship, Mortis Lator?!

The captain swallows hard and responds with some nervousness.

Sir. Your Flagship and the cutter escort were called away to Seaglory for the crowning of King Eric. They left only an hour ago. We were about to dispatch word, when we were informed to prepare for the fleet to rendezvous. Here are the dispatches.

John looks at the dispatches and calms down.

Ah, I see. They will return once the celebrations are over. Very well. Captain return to your ship and prepare your men for conflict. We sail out to assist with a pirate problem.

The captain returns to his ship and John's fleet forms up in line, Large Frigate, Ship of the Line, and Large Frigate, waiting for the conflict to begin.

A storm appeared to be blowing in from the west, and rushing along the wind it brought, was a large flag galleon- black from hull to the top of her mainmast, her sails were tattered and patched, though she raced along with impressive speed regardless.
