Alright next RP.

Rules are as followed

1. Try to keep things in character. Don't post something unrelated to the RP here. If you don't like this RP, don't complain about it here. Post a new thread or start your own RP thread if you don't like this one. I would actually be quite happy if someone posts a RP of their own so please feel free to do so.
2. You can control your characters actions-You can not control others. NPC's are fair game and anyone can control them, so long as its believable and in character. A guard for example shouldn't just up and decide to shoot an orphan for no reason-that is out of character. Anyone without a name will be considered a NPC, if you name a character but want it to be a NPC then just mention that said character is NPC in quotation marks after a post.
3. You are allowed to have multiple characters- but be reasonable. Don't flood the story with a bunch of your characters. 2 or 3 in one story is fine, anything past that is sort of pushing it unless you are really good at managing them.
4. Use Italics for actions, and try to separate things nice and neat. Also use paragraphs when needed. Quotations if for speaking out of the roleplay.
5. No editing of a post once you post it. The exception is to fix spelling mistakes or minor errors. It can be real annoying when someone posts one thing and another responds to it only to find what they responded too is now completely different.
6-Do not act on knowledge you know but your character doesn't- If for example Character A is being attacked in the tavern, and your character is in the church, you can't have your character suddenly rush to the tavern to help unless you can give a reason WHY he knows what is happening or he is rushing to the tavern.
7-if you have an objection to something, message the person directly first to resolve it.
8-Please do not decide things for other's characters without consulting them first. For example-don't say your character is my character's father, or lover, or anything without asking me first. Same for all folks. It puts them in an awkward spot.
9-keep things relevant to PG and pirates and their era and tech. So no aliens, or airplanes. Voodoo and magic are fine.

In the port of Goroum, countless people are meeting in various areas, some, seem to be partying and celebrating, other's seem to be somber, and a few appear to be scheming. The locals and the governor do not really know the meanings of all these gatherings, but they welcome the business, though are wary for any trouble. In an old, rugged pub called the Lions Den, a group of very wealthy important looking people are meeting, while Burt the bartender watches the door as he serves them drinks.

[Henry Avery]

A tall, pale young man sits in one corner of the pub, a strange bouquet on the tabe before him. The stems were carefully cut from the finest emerald, and the petals were made from every gem imaginable. it was all held together by gold wire. He himself had jet black hair, and piercing red orange eyes that seemed to glitter with centuries of wisdom. His clothes were a strange hybrid of noble and sailor.

[Argo]

A piratey-looking wench sits at the bar tossing down shot after shot. Her chin is slowly getting closer to the counter top with each one as her arms begin to splay further and further.
Her vision is somewhat blurring as she steadies herself to try to focus on the glitter she thinks she sees right in front of her...
She stares blinking constantly at the table in the corner. And she hiccups.

A tall, pale young man sits, a strange bouquet on the table before him. The stems seem to be carefully cut from the finest emerald, and the petals made from every gem imaginable. it seems to be held together by gold wire.

The woman gasps and under her rum soaked breath she slurs..
grimacing and wide-eyed she manages a "what the heck is that?"... With a smile as wide as the coast line of SeaGlory
she clocks the shiny bouquet and without a second thought slides off her stool and weaves a path to the table where the young man sits.

Approaching him, without taking her eyes from the prize.. she says, "Ay.. haven't seen you around here before.. I be known as 'AuntyJaneyDarling'... I drinks a bit - I dance a lot and I LOVE shiny new things..."
Her bloodshot eyes briefly flicker to his and back to the bouquet. And again.
Finally she looks at him and gives him her best intense attention and a smile that offers a most flirtatious.. "Why Sir, For me? You really shouldn't have..."

Although she is, these days looking and feeling a wee haggard, her sense of humour and laughter remain infectious and contagious... and the bouquet before her has brought the light back to her eyes...

The man looks up, his eyes interested for just a moment, but they quickly become bored as he whips out a razor sharp diamond edged saber, pointing right at her throat.

The flowers are not for you, wench. Run along and find someone else to bother.

[Argo]

AuntyJaynieDarling is not used to being spoken to in this way.

Her smile and her eyes engage most folk, be human or beast...They are her deadly weapons.

She turns to this stranger and locks her eyes to his.... and unleashes a smile that few could ever resist..

She waits..

On second thought.....

he reached back for the flowers, his eyes locked with hers, but he is forced to look away to find the bouquet, as his hand kept missing them. With eye contact broken, his guard was up, and he returned with a glare that dripped anger and rage.

Don't get cute with me, wench. You meddle in powers far beyond your own.

At the bar, Burt says somewhat bored

Kill each other outside if you please. I prefer to serve beer, not clean up blood.

At another corner a nicely dressed woman named Agrat just laughs somewhat amused

Don't listen to old Burt, nice to watch a show while one drinks.

AuntyJaynieDarling nods to herself.. yessss.. Nearly!! Her eyes shine!! She turns to give a reassuring look to the bartender and the lady thinking to herself " I still gots it!!"

Hm.. some take a little more work than others.... this may be one of those times...l just need me to sober up a little (if that is indeed possible) to be more effective, ..

It is a long long time since she has had to sober up for her magic to work .. and when she is sober things have a habit on not turning out so well ... She has had it too easy for too long... she knows it.
He is a tricky one and she will need all her chops if she is to have that bouquet!!

He growls.

I'd burn this city to the ground if the woman I'm looking for wasn't coming here.
