All voodoo cards will come with specific controls that will solve all such questions. However I will try to solve them for you already.
The Spy Network card:
It will reveal to you the IDs of the ships and fleets and cargo carried of target player. Then you can see which fleet or ship is a suitable target for you and use the IDs you just got with the cards you like (You might want to sink a ship or plunder that fat fleet of your opponent

Trade Master:
It will generate the trade routes list of target player. This piece of data can prove very useful with many forthcoming features and cards. The current final set will not have only these curses. For example, there can be a voodoo card whιch will raise the price for resources sold to the specific player on selected port

Max ship level is 10. You will not be able to use this card on ships with level 10 already. The particular card will fight the outrageous current costs for upgrading a Ship of the Line.
