i had an issue where i felt a mod was out of bounds i talked to meliva and dez a little bit and while i felt it should have had more repercussions
i was fine with just letting others mods know just so the bs didnt become a habit
as for reporting it i feel approaching mods first as a better route to go
the main thing is to get the facts out and be heard no matter what platform you choose to use

do i think mods show favoritism? sure... but such is life :D

but as for them being professional i dont feel thats a thing they get to have fun too :D
damages or butthurt received in the posting of these words is solely yours and yours alone
if counseling is needed therapist ahben buthert or cryin ferdays is available at the tp kleenex & creme clinic

Aye, while I try to treat everyone the same personal bias is a hard thing to overcome at times. Which is why in the event that If I feel I can't be impartial I ask another to handle it for me. I have had to do this before and odds are will have to do it again. Best for any mods to do this.

First off, dez reminds me of one of the cast of grumpy old men. Ive noticed he is just that way, but i think some of what people have issues with is that he has dry a$$ humor, i picture him laughing at some of the stuff he says, while those receiving it get pist, and the sooner you figure that out the better :)

But on this topic, i think it takes a special kind of person to be a active player moderator. They should have to follow all rules the players do as any player would, participate in all the banter, but be able to separate the personal from professional. Not everyone can do that, and its an acquired skill. In the Air Force, we always thought the best officers were prior enlisted.

On the other hand, we cant always jump to moderator abuse when ever we feel slighted, sometimes we are just wrong, just as they are.

I think moderators should be held to a higher standard, but still participate in banter and joking. There is no reason that someone volunteering to help the game function should be restricted in their play.

However, as a concerned player, why are we having this discussion? Shouldn't all the players be just a bit more considerate? If I recall correctly this game has a suggested I.Q. Shouldn't players be intelligent enough to figure out how to respect one another.

Keep in mind I definitely don't want this to become just a sit around and eat s'mores 'round the campfire game. Healthy, friendly competition is great and what we all want.

I am calling everybody out on this. All players whether new or veteran, pirate, privateer, or merchant ought to step up and act maturely.
