Jack shakes his head.

I'll give you a cutter, which you can sail back using your bloody powers. I'll give you some gold to get started on rebuilding the damned thing. I'm surprised you can't just raise it out of the water.

Veera laughs

Im a powerful witch, but im not exactly talented in that particular school of magic. It's much easier for me to blast and destroy things then to create and fix. Though Emily probably could do it-she seems to be quite skilled at that brand of magic. Though I won't trouble her with such a request. Ill be heading out now. Just point me to the cutter I can use, load it up with a small amount of gold and ill be out of your hair.

Jack points to a small cutter at the docks, it has no cannon. A small amount of gold is paced in it.

Veera boards the cutter and begins sailing away. Once near where her ship sank, it rises back up fully repaired, Veera laughs as the 2 ships disappear, and in the back of jack's head a small whisper is heard.

I lied. Thanks for the ship and gold mate.

Emily groans as she starts heading back to her cavern.

Ugh, why did Ellen die and not her.

Carl starts to wake up, and begins taking out the thorns in his body, while Brian helps him walk back to the church.

Ill patch us both up. Next time we see her lets just shoot her and be done with it Carl.

Carl nods.

Yeah, i normally object to fighting or hurting women, but for her ill make an exception.

Emily sighs.

Not worth it. Would be very difficult to do, and odds are while we go chasing her, she would do something to the island while most of us are gone. Besides she is very petty and vindictive-we tick her off and she will do everything in her power to make all of us miserable-killing our friends and family, blowing up our homes, sending monsters to try to kill us. Not worth going through all that for a bloody cutter and some gold.

Emily looks very conflicted and thinks for a few moments before speaking.

As horrible as she is, I can not bring myself to try to kill her. I lost Ellen, and I'd rather not lose the only other family I have left. Though I might look into catching her and locking her up. But I won't do anything to kill her, I simply can't do it. If we leave her alone, she should leave us alone. She does care for me-in her own strange way. She won't do anything to harm me, and after our talk she promised to leave my island and everyone on it alone-so long as we do the same for her.
