I assume this is in regards to Albania losing most their ports to the US. But, wasn't that just because Pro left, and the ports went with him? Don't think it was a US thing, rather just a Pro thing

If everyone had built up enough influence one player leaving shouldn't make much difference, just sayin'

Actually it was more than just a pro thing. I held enough influence to swing it. If I had stayed in Albania, most of the ports would have stayed with Albania even with Pro leaving.
