How many have seen Master and Commander: The Far Side of the world. It's highly realistic as well as historically accurate. I suggest you all check it out.

It's not a line. Leftenant is a rank that was common during the time and used throughout the movie. The "i'll let you be my" was me saying you can be my leftenant.
