After the magnificent run, our players had with finding a city, we return back to another Where am I? - Country Edition game where you try to figure out which country we are talking about!

"Rules" of Hornswaggle! "Where am I? - Country Edition": Three hints to start the game with, all are welcome to participate as much as they want and I'll reveal a new hint after mistakes or passed time. The winner is the person with the right answer and older timestamp. In the case of multiple people having the right answer and the same timestamp, the loot is shared. The round continues indefinitely. (Rules for special quizzes or other games can differ)

Switzerland or Lithuania

Switzerland was declared independent from the Holy Roman Empire in 1648 in the Peace of Westphalia. So sorry, but that does not make it more than 700 years ago.

Same applies for Lithuania. It got its independence in 1918 from Russia/Germany. So even after Switzerland! This makes your answer void, sorry to say.

Barbados received its independence on the 30th of November 1966 and became part of the Commonwealth. Alas, this is not the right answer. Here is a pretty picture to soothe the pain from Barbados:
