Research and independent thinking. Don't believe everything you hear from the Media.

If you don't read the news, your uninformed. If you read the news, you are misinformed.

Case and Point. Numerous News Outlets initially reported that the Austin Bombing Suspect was arrested or shot and killed, when in fact he blew himself up. They don't check their information, they just report and people eat it up as fact. And if they have to make a correction, especially on something big, the correction is relegated to the side and in non-obvious locations. "News" Media is more interested in breaking a story quickly than making sure that their information is accurate. This is one of the main reasons the term "Fake News" has stuck so well to organizations like CNN and MSNBC.

None of the things you listed are legitimate, true facts that hold any merit for or against anyone. The only thing I took away from your post is that you accept what biased sources tell you and without hearing another opinion would argue for what you blindly hold to be true.

Already being called a domestic terrorist act. Honestly your implication that the "label" has anything to do with race or religion is offensive. An act is an act. terrorism is terrorism, murder is murder. Doesn't matter the demographics of the perpetrator.

I agree with you. Being a Muslim myself, I am tired of hearing that biasness in labels from media and politicians. You have to admit that up until very recently what I stated was a given. It only started to change recently and not in all outlets. For example, the SC church shooting is still labeled hate crime. Texas shooter is still called unhinged more often than domestic terrorist.

Ummmm you are wrong on that. From Dylan Roof(SC church shooter) Wiki page

"Dylann Storm Roof is an American white supremacist, domestic terrorist and mass murderer convicted in December 2016 for perpetrating the Charleston church shooting on June 17, 2015"

Also Devin Kelley, Texas church shooter was "unhinged". At one time committed to mental health facility, escaped in 2012, domestic violence history, discharged from military for threatening superior officers and mental instability. That label is actually quite accurate. Labelled as mass murderer because his intent was not entirely clear.

The problem isn't in the sentiment of actual US citizens, the issue is with the media. They want there to be racism in everything so they can propagate a story. If you watch US cable news, or even network news, their default explanation is racism.

Do not confuse the media reports with the actual sentiment of the people.

Okay so to sum it up do not blindly take the media's word, and basically question things that the media says. Also most people are either missinformed by the news or who don't watch the news are uninformed.
