True about testing the product first but it ain't worth travelling to Shenzen, Hong Kong to test out a 99 dollar laptop.

But i still deem the pinebook to be a great bang for the bucks. For that kind of money, it's a real bargain. It surprised me with both speed, design and build quality but that damn screen.

Looks like a Chinese Knock-off of a MacBook.

$100 USD is a great price no doubt.

In terms of the specs of comparison to all the "book" laptop it is a very solid selling point. My only dislike is the OS Linux, but I see possible android configuration. (But not a huge fan of that either usually)

Worth the risk for $100 IMO.

Valar- from the specs on line it seems to be a normal LCD screen, do you notice any issues with TV's at home if you have still have a LCD

No, I do have a 200 hz led tv. Have never had a lcd screen before. I know i tire easily when using a plasma screen if it ain't pricey.
If it's very sunny and I got the sun blinds down not entirely closed, I get violently sick when I speak to a person sitting with his back to the window. It's just enough with a bit shifting of the head.
