she is right of course.
but i told her that i was on a mission to teach English to the entire planet,
only once we can all speak the same language can we put an end to wars and petty disputes over resources
we can do away with countries and borders,
and work together to build a world free from greed and hunger.
(you may say i am a dreamer. but i am not the only one)
then once we all speak with one voice as an entire planet
then we can explore the stars and other solar systems
and find another planet to live on before this one explodes......

A common language isn't going to magically make cultural, religious, and other differences just evaporate where everyone lives in peace and agrees to the same point of view.
So good luck with that.

I mean the universe is SO big, there is SO much out there it seems extremely unlikely we are the only planet with life., but the problem is due to how big it is, finding another planet with life is like finding a needle in a planet sized haystack. And there are probably planets that are currently developing life at the cellular level, and we have no ways of knowing without getting there and checking personally. Now I do not know if there is intelligent life out there, but if there is, I hope they are more peaceful then we are. of course then we would probably kill them all and take over. We humans are not very friendly, not even to eachother

I do believe the same as well, the universe is very big. We don't have TO go there to find out, the light rays or whatever rays that the sun on the system shots will bounce off the planet and they just need to study the waves to know what the planet is made out of, Eg. Water, Hydrogen, Oxygen.

that method is not exactly perfect though. for starters, the information they get is not modern. the light that reaches us took time to get here, so lets say it took 10 lightyears then the light that reaches us is 10 years old. and the farther it is, the older the picture. for example lets say there is an twin earth exactly the same, with life and history 150 million light years away, and we got the image now, we would be seeing that earth in the Jurassic period.
not to mention those light waves while we can learn some things about the planet, we cant learn every little detail. that water could have toxins in it. or the planet could be radiated, or have flesh eating bacteria.
