As an englishman living in Asia, I feel that if the whole of europe (england included) was to boil in its own urine I could still not care less.
I don't know, it seems to me if they ain't got you one way they got you another,
So what's the answer? that's what I keep asking myself, what's it all about?
Know what l mean?

No reason to send condolences, national sovereignty is a great thing.

The UK has not left the EU : A referendum on EU membership gained a small majority for exit : Constitutionally, that result is not binding on this Parliament, nor is it binding on any future Parliament : The UK has to give notice it intends to leave : that will take about 6 months : subsequent negotiations to finalise the exit will take about 2 years or more : then Parliament will have to debate and pass any legislation to ratify that exit agreement : so, even if it all goes well, it will take 3 years or more : which, oddly, is just when the next General Election will happen and a new Parliament will be formed unhindered by any previous Governments promises or undertakings : So, basically, nothing has changed at all, and nothing will change for several years, and maybe, not even after that. Politics, heh?

The EU stock market plunged. DOW fell 650 points. This is a crisis.

Yep... probably

Pity, that was not the case when Yugoslavia was concerned...

Btw, this is a game of big players (as I read, media helped at the most) which will result with negative impact on small countries in EU (nationalism, fascism etc to hide economic and social problems)... and if Yugoslavian scenario works... who knows what else...

In my opinion it's far better without yugoslawia because now each country which was part of it can decide on their own while in yugslawia everything was turend twoards Serbia and Belgrade. True that emplyment rate was better back then than now but still people are happier and have far more freedom than back then.
