This makes no sense. No, that's not what it means. What you are saying is that everything has a cause and effect.... Duh.

It is correct that I did not choose the circumstances I was thrown in to; it is false to say that I did not choose how to react, even if the reaction is based on genetics. I didn't choose my genes, but I chose how I used my genetic makeup to react.

I think you misunderstand the concept.of free will or DNA. Free will doesn't say you control everything in your life; it says you control your actions specifically. Your DNA isnt something separate from you; it is you. You can't think of DNA as an organism that controls us; that isn't what it is. It controls us because it is us. It is the code for our entire makeup.
