Diogenes was an Greek philosopher, who lived 300 years before Christ in Athen. He leaded a very poor life and lifed in an big empty wine-barrel. He was very satisfyed and he said to everyone that he want no more.
Alexander the Great, the mighty armyleader, came to Diogenes on his way to Asia, which he wanted to conquer by his huge army. He did not believe Diogenes that he were satisfyed with his life. Alexander believed that if Diogenes would have a lot of money he would spend a much more better life. Diogenes would make out of his need a virtue. Therefore Alexander wanted to test the sense of life of Dogenes. He declared to Diogenes after greeting him: "Diogenes I shall give you all what you want that you could spend a better life. Please answer me that you agree to that my offer!"
Diogenes answered: "Please go out of the sun."
