Lord Home was a great British armycommander 300 years ago. He gathered his army before a battle. The officers were standing in front of Lord Home and cried out cheering the Lord: "Home, Home, Home! " The huge crowd of the soldiers behind heared that cheering of their officers and believed that they were ordered to go home. Therefore they leafed imedetely the military gatheringround and ran home. Lord Home was now not able to lead the battle because of lack of soldiers.
Therefore Lord Home asked the King, that he could change his noble name to Lord Hume. The King allowed that. An ancestor of Lord Hume was British minister of foreign affears 20 years ago.

I think you mean descendant, as if he was an ancestor to lord hume he would have been born before him not after. Other then that neat story.
