Also on the subject of pets, owning a pet can really brighten up your life, but don't get one unless you know you can afford to take care of it, and have the ability to do so. I would love to own a cat, but I can't afford to take care of one at the moment.

Also don't waste time getting a degree in something you won't do or can't use. Example-don't take a history class unless you aim to do a job relating to it-even if its something you would like to know more about, your better off researching it for free with google then getting a degree. You say you want to pursue game design-that is a fairly good choice in my opinion, finding work in the video game industry shouldn't be too hard, or you might want to be your own boss and go indie-I wouldn't advise it until your well off and have funds and time to burn.

My mom keep telling me to go for something easier so that I can at least get a job in the future, and said that I might learn how to cook, but become a business man, just cus I have a fam that became a bank manager even tho he learnt cooking.

Its very important to listen to family, and their advice, especially elders. But never forget that it is YOUR life. So its ultimately up to you to decide. And remember, you are gonna screw up. A lot. Part of life, no one is perfect. cept maybe weird al, but I don't think he's actually human. But regardless, I do advise you make sure you have a back up plan if your first one goes down the drain. Also I heavily advise learning how to cook-real useful skill, and can really impress a date, though I would advise you try to learn how to do so by yourself rather then pay a lot of money to learn it. Try finding a family member who knows their stuff.
