Deportation Law - Update Suggestion

Postby DezNutz » Mon Jun 27, 2016 5:27 pm

Deportation Law needs to be updated. Currently for a player to be considered for deportation, a player must be 30 consecutive days inactive. If they are past the 30 day mark, a Nation Council Member can submit a vote for deportation, which takes an additional 3 days. So effectively, a player must be inactive for 33 days to be deported.

Suggestion:
Reduce inactive time needed to consider deportation to 14 consecutive days.
The 3 days for the vote effectively allows for 17 days of inactivity before a player can be deported.

Additional Option:
If a player comes active during the vote, the vote is automatically vetoed.

How does an inactive player hinder your operation ? I think 30 days is good so when I return from a 2-3 week vacation, I don't find myself out on my ear nationless.
Inactives really do no harm or impact operations or is there something I am not seeing ?

I think it would make it easier on King and Council to know who the players are. The US is a prime example. There are hundreds of new players that give up on the game and you have to wait 30 days to clear them from the roster.

Or for instance, a player who is banned from the game.

ahhh... I gotcha, Inactives whose influence is too high to surmount and take over the nation as active government.
It will come... work towards it.
USA will always be swamped with inactives due to the amount of potential players from that country that do not wish to play after seeing the game but join to try it out using their native flag.
No way around this but if you catch each of them when they start, you stand a good chance of building a new team from the ones who do stay to play.

Sorta, the removal of Roth's accounts would be helpful, but I plan on just putting gc down for the influence to pass him. I really want to clean up the US and rebuild it properly. Removing the mass inactives is a start. A bulk of new players choose the US as you said, and I see that getting the US built properly and cleared out will help new players to stay in the game. It looks bad when inactive players just pile down on a nation.

Maybe some clever posts in the National forum and incentives to stay and contact you for assistance could help your recruiting abilities... don't know...just throwing out suggestions on how to get some lemonade from your lemons.

I'm working on getting there. Nation Missions are slow for me.

Aye... they are not easy for the average player so when I see threads that say they should be harder, I know I worked my tail off to achieve the rank and work my way through.
It seems easy for some but you have to remember, they have had a lot more months/years gathering resources and learning how to best apply what resources they have gathered in terms of voodoo and gold coin.
