As promised, we have just released the new voodoo cards!



All 28 of them are now available through Boosters and Presents.

An exception to this is the Remodel Rare Card, which will not be available through Presents (still available from Boosters and from there to the Market). The reason this card will not be available to presents is because we expect a limited usage of it.

If the expected consumption rate was high (ie Master Craftmanship) it would definitely turn into such. However, just because the expected consumption is low (how many are going to use this anyway?) it will just manage (hopefully) to keep its value to a reasonable level for a rare card. After all, the reason we picked this as a rare card, is because there is no need many of such cards to exist.

If this does not work, we could try making it available only through gifts (so that those who pay for boosters will avoid a useless rare card).

it seems to me that if u were Into the game enough to be stacking booster cards, getting a remodel card would be a huge benefit. cuz ship collectors who got a 48 point sotl from someone who didnt know how to make ships wud have a great desire to redistribute those MC points if it was an alternative to re-rolling the entire ship

Right now, I believe it will be scarcely used. Most people take Ship of the Lines to full attributes anyway so this is not a necessity at all.

So, while this card can be a bit useful now, it's real potential is the future and specifically when we will release the Ship Specialization major feature. At that time, we will also make it available through presents.

So, consider it an early convenience, for the few that want to use it as you described. But more of a card for the future.

I have a question about Remodel, Can it only target a ship you own, or can it target any ship owned by anyone?

All artifacts are NoFail, SelfUse unless stated otherwise. So you can only target a ship of yours. If you target another, the card will generate an error message and no turns or the card will be consumed.

target fleet travels 5% faster
with new cards added a few more trading techniques have been made it would be nice if we can make particular fleets faster than others
