[Concluded] Bounties functionality

The question is whether or not we should reward the bounty victim when he casts the specified voodoo on him.
For example, if I put a bounty on Skyhawk for Taxation, right now, if Skyhawk casts Taxation on him, he received the bounty (he cannot cancel).
Should this be maintained or not?
Feel free to justify.

I feel that if they cast Fug on themselves for example, they can just remove it straight away and still gain the bounty.

They cannot cancel though, if this is what you meant.
Which means that they still get the harm fully.
The real difference is that this is a kind of a controlled buy out of the bounty. The target player can choose the opportune moment to fire it. It is also unrealistic and it creates false stats.

I agree.Once the inside caster has the same rules as given to the outside caster then there is no problem.
+1

I don't think this should be possible. In what world would someone turn themselves in, harm themselves, or do any nasty "bounty" type deed to themselves??
Allowing one to collect a price on their own head seems wildly illogical to me.

Tweek it like if someone casts harmfull voodoo on themselves he can't cancle it or even clear it with the voodoo he must be punished for it because if someone collect bounty on their head it is illogical and bounty lose purpose.

There is more than one type of harmful voodoo : those that persist for a period (like Fugi/HN/taxation/etc) and those which are 'instant' (levi/bootymaster/sabotage/assassin) : one can be cleaned, the other cant but, with some ingenuity the target can find a profit in them if the bounty price is right : so, how do you keep it equitable? My view, you dont try : if a target finds a way to clear the bounty at a lower cost to themselves, as long as it is done within the rules of the game : good for them. I dont see any wrong in that at all. The target already has to face the risk of a bounty being executed upon them for the full 14 days it stands. This proposal would mean they have no defence against a bounty except to wait that full 14 days for an attack, only then may they defend or repair it. Which is wrong on too many levels given the initiator of the bounty has done bugger all except risk some coin and hit a button.

What if it could be cleared by self casting, but the player cannot earn the bounty for it. Nor, go up in the statistics
