Ryan hears the commotion and inspects the young man, before going to Dreadbolt.

Apparently one of you lads went a bit crazy narrating to himself and is now in the brig. Though, he doesn't look like one of yours to be honest.

Dreadbolt hardly looked up from his tea, hastily swallowing a bit of cake before speaking.

Keelhaul the bloody stowaway, then haul up his corpse and hang him in the cage dangling from the bowsprit with a sign that reads "No Stowaways." One, it''ll scare off any more freeloading bilge rats, and two oughta send quite the chill down any pirate's spine, dangling overhead seconds before our ram cleaves his ship in half.

Ryan shrugs

Well your ship your rules. honestly, I think just tossing him overboard would be simple and easy enough. Or see if Carl wants to put him to work. Or force him to clean the ship top to bottom. I just think we shouldn't kill him. Waste of a possibly useful tool.

Ryan then looks around a bit before whispering

Plus last I checked the rules of RP somewhat forbid it. Not 100% sure about this one though

John heads inside his quarters and lies down for some rest. He dozes off in short order and has a very lucid dream. People sit behind these machines with magic windows and letters written on small squares. The magic windows show wild imagery of a game where people type words and play as pirates or merchants. The most peculiar thing he sees is a weird book where these people create characters in a pirate adventure. The adventures are very interesting but one thing keeps appearing over and over as if a warning.

You can't kill a character created by another person, unless the character creator expressly gives permission. Non-Player Characters can generally be killed without permission, but you should be absolutely positive they are an NPC before killing them.

John wakes frantically from his sleep, sweating profusely. Wiping the sweat from this forehead, John walks with a purpose. After searching the ship, John finds the cook at the aft of the ship setting up fishing lines. John walks behind the cook, draws his pistol, and shoots the cook in the head.

John picks up the cook and tosses his body overboard. The 1st mate and some of the crew look on it shock. John stops and turns to them.

Cooked me bad food. Get back to work.

Dreadbolt growls, scowling, then speaks again.

Do everything but the keelhauling. He gets nothing but bread and water till we reach our destination.

Ryan nods and quickly goes through with the order, putting Michael in the cage, with some bread and water. He nods to the man and speaks before leaving

You're lucky. You would have been keelhauled, but rules are rules.

The fleet sails along for days with nothing but blue skies and good strong winds. On a foggy day, about halfway through the trip they spot smoke coming from distance. As they sail a few more miles the crew of every ship looks on in shock as the remains of four heavily armed merchant frigates, forty guns each, come into view. Each vessel looks as if it's been through battle, though the cannon aboard the ships have all been taken. The masts have been shot away and when men are sent aboard to check things out, they find that absolutely everything that wasn't nailed down had been taken. Even the gold on the for and aft of the vessels was mostly peeled off. A boat is sent out to find survivors. It finds nothing. They've either all been taken or killed. The ships look as they were attacked four days earlier.

Carl shakes his head as he arranges a meeting between captains

Well, that's sad to see, hopefully though they did some damage back. Though the enemy now has more guns. Still, we should be nearing the enemy. I can have my cutter scout ahead; it's fast enough that it can easily escape any enemies and lure them back to us. On a side note, do you also reckon we should use my trade galleon as bait for a trap? If we can catch some of their men we could interrogate them. I'd like to know numbers and their setup before rushing into a fight if possible.
