The rag heap does what looks like a quick bow before speaking

Heya. I'm Zephyra. Nice to meet ya. Should probably apologize on behalf of my family. Veera, who Is causing this mess, is my cousin. Bit of the black sheep of the family. Always causing trouble and messes for the fun of it. Then having the rest of us clean it up. I went ahead and sent a message to me little brother, to come by if he can to back us up. He will show up as soon as he can, but he isn't very quick at travelling around, so he won't show up for a while. For now, we should plan what to do. My recommendation, we find my cousin, beat the crap outta her, and force her to disband the cult and tell the folks she tricked the truth. We should not kill her, at least not before she tells the truth to those she tricked. Otherwise, they will think she died a martyr and we'll end up either having to kill or lock up most of the damn port.

Jack nods

It's nice to meet you. I like your idea and I think that even if we wanted to kill her we wouldn't have too. The locals would do it for us.

Zeph sighs

That's assuming she wouldn't just leave the moment they try. She's not above running away when things are not looking good. Not to mention, even if she couldn't run, she's strong enough that she'd kill quite a few of them before they could finish her off. Also, she might not be alone. Sometimes she works with Rhena, another nasty witch. Not as bad as Veera, but still bad.

True. So who's your brother?

Zephrya sighs

My little brother is Eloth. He's very loyal, and strong. A bit overly violent and bloodthirsty, though, he claims any good warrior is. He won't be here for a while. Probably at least a day or 2. He's rather slow when it comes to moving. You'll see why when he shows up.

Fraid not, Jack. Try a ten foot tall skeleton in a suit dyed with blood that could flatten a Leviathan with a sneeze.

Jack nods at the other

So Zephyra, is there anything you suggest we do while we wait?

Zephyra thinks for a moment

We should get started on tracking down Veera, finding where she's at, and try to solve this problem. Longer we wait worst it will get.

Well, she's not one for low profile. So wherever she is, it's probably pretty obvious.

Jack stands up, knocks the embers of his pipe out into an ashtray.

Where do we start?
