Well then nothing to worry about in that case. We just draw some blood from her, then patch her up. You ready to head out Thomas? Sooner we deal with this the better.

She looks around and shouts

Oy, anyone want to come along for a job? Got some coin for folks willing to fight and/or sail.

[Henry Avery]

Aye. Let's move out. If nobody is opposed, we can take my ship.

[Meliva]

Veera quickly steps forward grabbing her sister gently by the arm and smiling warmly

Why don't you and Eloth go with Zeph on her ship-told her to pick us up at the dock in her cutter. I'm gonna go with Thomas to discuss some things.

Emily shrugs and quietly leaves, Eloth following close behind. Once gone Veera say's quietly to Thomas her smile replaced with a frown

You're lucky my sister isn't as good at spotting a lie as I am. That Lizzie girl is going to die isn't she? Honestly I don't really care about that, more so the fact you lied to my sister's face. Not to mention, what do you think will be the reaction, when she finds out you lied? We can't risk getting in a fight, right at the entrance to the bloody void Thomas. We need to figure out a way to make sure she doesn't find out-at least until the fight is over. I'll think about what to do, I suggest you do the same, and ask yourself if you're really willing to kill an innocent girl who trusts you. You may very well regret that decision you know.

I'll make it look like an accident. The knife will just "slip" and cut her wrist. As for regrets? I don't get those. Not anymore.

[Meliva]

Veera shrugs

If you say so. Just don't say nobody warned you. Also, you would want to slice the neck-not the wrist. Would be a lot faster and less painful that way. When it's time, I'll convince the other's to go and stand watch while you do what you need to do. Use whatever lie or excuse you want when we come back. Just make it a good one. My family might not be as good at catching lies as I am, but they ain't stupid.

[Henry Avery]

Aye. I'll go do it now. No sense in waiting any longer.
He stalked away into the storm, down to the ship.

Veera shrugs and calls after him

Oh one last thing-head to the island and look for my sister's tower. We can gather there and prepare before heading to that door you mentioned.

As he leaves Veera quickly turns back to the bar and shouts as she tosses a bag of gold on the floor

Hey, who want's to come along for a very dangerous but high paying job?

Several minutes later, a short scream is heard as the rotting frigate slides out of the dock, and into the sea.

[Meliva]

After a bit of time, Veera quickly heads out, along with a large group of men- mostly drunkards and beggars. After a short time, she arrives onto the island, quickly leading her group to a cave, heading deep into it, until arriving at a finely built tower, surrounded by various statues. She enters it and waits with her kin as the armed men wait outside.
