Doesn't seem to be too durable blade, not against my longsword... I mean, you're trespassing, and outnumbered right now.

As I said. I am here on peaceful terms unless you are a rat. Speed over durability is what my master has taught me, and your longsword seems too heavy to be called a sword. Might as well put an anchor on that handle.

You are the only one threatening me, as that fellow man and lady have been fairly reasonable. What says you in your differed view?

Emily looks very annoyed. She snaps her fingers and several stone and iron golems come to her.

I don't want any fighting happening in my cave. You 2 can do this outside, or my golems will throw you both out. And i highly doubt either of your swords can slice through several feet of solid stone and iron. If your hunting rats, then there are tons in my cave. But i like them there. They make good test subjects, and ingredients for certain spells and potions. Your lord should probably just do what i do and secure his food and rum better. Also Jack, technically this is my island, though honestly I only really want my cave, so the rest you can claim as yours.

Emily remembers what she was doing and goes back to her portal. Trying hard to remember something as she mumbles to herself.

Where was Veera's lair again. God I should have wrote that down somewhere.

Reports from my lord include holes bored in rock. I came here for this very reason. The way I see it is if you can control your magic rats, then my lord can pay you kindly. The warehouse of rum caught on fire and we found rats. we rebuilt it, and we witnessed a crazed rat with an odd aura to it and we suspect magic may be involved from the fire. Mind you we don't use torches near the warehouse and crunched stone was found in dead rat bodies.

And my apologies for my sudden appearance, and how I got here will remain unknown to you. all you need to know is my lord is tired of magic rats somehow crunching rock foundations and somehow catching the place in flames.

The butler sheathes his katana out of respect for the lass.

Well, no matter how he got here, it could be a security breach, Emily.

Emily looks a tad annoyed snapping her fingers, 2 green golems come forth. She looks at them and gives an order.

Cover the whole cave with acid. Kill anything you see that isn't me or another golem-oh and don't destroy any of my plants, except bushes and trees. Start the job in 10 minutes.

She turns to the others.

There. Rats will be gone. So will all of you if you stick around too long. Now I need to get back to my portal. Jack, the rest of you can come back when I send word to you. Don't come back until then, no telling how long their job will take. Ill also be adding a lot more security to my cave. I'm thinking of putting a new golem I been working on at all entrances that shoot fire. That should keep anyone out.

She turns back to her portal and starts concentrating.
