While walking in the shopping district I was suddenly struck by hunger pangs due to the aromas surrounding me.
I surveyed a myriad of edible wares displayed by many vendors and stopped at a reasonably large stall filled with delicacies I had never even seen.
I asked a million questions and was amazed at what ports the different foods had come from and stated it must take many a fleet to keep it supplied.
The vendor responded that indeed it did.
I selected a few items to complete a meal, paid for it and began eating.
After I had finished I asked the vendor what the cost for outfitting a ship with the items I had just eaten.
She asked a few questions about the type of ship and number of crew wherein I explained my current situation and need for a crew and my newness to being in charge of such responsibilities.
Her response was to offer to outfit the ship as needed in return for being chosen for such a crew and an adventure.
I happily agreed and that was how trixikilikili (#41855) came to join the crew.


Wanting to drink and continue my search for worthy sailors I ducked into a small tavern past the shopping district.
Ordering a drink I looked around there was only one other patron in the bar.
I found a seat at a bench and waited on my drink while I studied the place.
My impression of the place was not good and led me to think that after one watered down drink I would find another place to look for more crew.
Once it arrived I was impressed with the quality of the drink and decided to stay.
As I neared the bottom of my cup the other patron offered to buy me a round in celebration.
I accepted and inquired as to what celebration I owed my free drink.
Just a personal accomplishment of 5000 won sea battles was the response.
I told my story and outlined my mission and asked if such a seasoned sailor would be interested in joining my crew.
The response was an overwhelming yes and my free round of rum arrived in time to toast xTaylorx (#67299) for joining up.
Afterwards, I excused myself as the rum was stronger than I thought and I needed the fresh air as much as I needed more crew.
