Roi,
The day i become your present partner is the day i leave the IMO/TMN... NEVER! Unlike some people who would consider betraying their guild, i am going to stay loyal to my guild and my guildmates. Unless i'm kicked out or am forced to leave i ain't leaving the IMO/TMN.

My my, i'm gone for a few short hours and the conversation deteriorates to this.

The guild has helped me to learn the game, it's protected me while learning the game and I've enjoyed my time thus far. As to what I've done for my guild i'd most likely have to say regrettably little up until recently, and i already have someone to send presents to daily, but thank you for the offer.

After reading the most insightful comments provided while i was away, it seems obvious that while everyone has there own views and opinions on the situation, some are not open to even the remote possibility that it is a good idea, a good system and a good play style for some individuals. For what ever reason people will rile against the method that we choose to follow and will deem it exploitation or unfair, but answer me this final thing if you will.

If the players in the IMO willingly choose to follow the system in place, and there happy with how things operate. Then why should anyone from an external guild that isn't involved with how it operates, have any right to decide weather or not it's fair for us, or weather or not it's in our best interests? If were happy then leave us be and allow us to follow the play style we're happy with. If members aren't and they decide it's not the system for them and they want to leave, then i ask that you take them in and teach them the ways of Avonmora and allow them to follow a system they are happy with.

I'm sorry but this one part is just not true. If it were, I'd keep my nose out of it.
And as for being worried about how many voodoo curses I have, you're absolutely right. It's not the number but the spells that the curses cast. And without turns, voodoo is useless. There are really too many factors to take into account and only a well thought out voodoo plan and the turns to back it up will cause the right voodoo to be effective. Besides that, someone can always buy more than I do or buy the ones that I miss or ignore at auction and foil my plans while I sleep if I don't make it virtually impossible. So nobody is impervious. I'm just too dangerous to make angry unless you are smart enough to know how to get away with it (which requires too high of a sacrificial price for most players)or if I feel that I had it coming.
If you don't think I'll lie down and take it, ask the one player who made the sacrifice needed to get away with it. I sent him the daily present for a while after that to let him know that I respect his devotion to what he believes in.
Yesterday I gave my all. Today I'll give more. Tomorrow, I'll take back what you took for granted.

Then would you allow internal guild mechanics to sort the matter out and see if a resolution can be sought with-in our own ranks, and if after a period of time you feel that things haven't been resolved in a way that benefits the IMO and the members that make up its ranks, and that it's members still aren't satisfied with how things are being done, then we can resume?

From what I've learnt voodoo can be a dangerous thing and if used incorrectly not only a waste and ineffective, but can be the beginning of the end. However used effectively it can be a powerful weapon capable of allowing you to destroy your enemies, it's all a matter of planning, timing and execution.
For some things the reward can be worth the sacrifice. I do sincerely hope though that the day never comes when i have to turn cannons towards your fleets in battle for that would be a dark day for my armada indeed, however should that day come i would sacrifice every ship i had if i believed the cause was just.

Okay, since I'm a little direct, to the point of harshness, I'll apologize ahead of time for the tone that will likely be read into this.

None of us would be answering these questions in this thread if the thread had never been created. It was wise of you to seek our input but is unreasonable to expect us not to give it.
Many of us have been around long enough to see the failure of every method used here. The only difference between my way of getting voodoo curses and that of ABP is that I spend real-world cash. She spends you. If she spends herself as much as she gets paid by you :?: then all is fair. If she doesn't do this but somehow you are all better off than you would be if she wasn't greedy, by our definitions, then we are wrong and she is right provided that someone else (let's call him Achillies) didn't have to overtax his own real-world economic situation to provide you the protection that she failed to provide due to a severe imbalance of loyalty or just a bad voodoo:turns ratio.

You posed the questions. Some players tried to insult your intelligence to try to make their points. Sure they are rude but their hearts are in the right place. Well most of them anyway. Our points have merit. Your points have merit but in the end, accounting for life happening and your voodoo being in the hands of someone who life may happen to at any time, our points win the argument. It's up to you to decide whether to accept the loss with grace or end up with egg on you face down the line because you insisted on winning the argument rather than being a winner.
Yesterday I gave my all. Today I'll give more. Tomorrow, I'll take back what you took for granted.

Maybe i'm not direct enough and mis-communicate my point.
The input of some people here is greatly appreciated and the knowledge held by those of you that have been around for a while is greatly appreciated. I've already started forming ideas of possible systems and strategies that could be used and the advantages and disadvantages of each, while many of you have seen them fail i'd rather learn first hand and witness the effects of each if they were to happen, and then ask questions of people that contained the relevant knowledge so i could re-form my ideas. i wasn't asking for people to stop answering completely, it's just the direction the conversation had taken it appeared that useful information may fail to be forth coming. Aye the small battles mean nothing, the war is the victory. For now i will go away, consider everything that was been discussed and make a reformed decision. i do thank you for your input X.
