Thank you, this will do.

Black quickly loads both of his pistols and fires each one at the monsters. He reloads and repeats this until there is only one monster left. This one is much larger and muscular than the rest. It towers over them at around 9 feet tall and omits a loud roar from its chasm of a mouth.
A prison warden must be the very best at kung fu.

Zeph points to the larger monster, and sends a large burst of wind into it's mouth, catching if off guard as it stumbles back gripping it's body in pain as the air ruptures some organs. It then rushes forward as it's bleeding inside and begins flailing at anyone nearby trying to take whoever it can with it.

Jack and three of his men plunge their cutlasses into the monster, stabbing it several times. One of them gets knocked five feet away, his arm being broken. The monster falls dead on the ground.

Well, that does it. I was just about to jump inside the monster's mouth and kill it from the inside.

Patch up any wounds, or if anyone is too hurt to continue, go and stay with the prisoners. Once ready, we go through this door. Pretty sure Veera must be on the other side. I sense some very strong magic past it. Be ready for a fight. Also, be sure you all have ample ammo and any other items you want or need. Loot bodies if you need to.

Jack and his men patch themselves up and get any ammunition, which isn't much, from the bodies of the various enemies they had killed previously.

Zeph shrugs to the question

For some it comes easier then others. Some folks would find very simple magic very difficult and tiring, while other's can do complex magic without much trouble. I come from a rather long line of witches and wizards, so that greatly helps.

She looks to the door, and takes a deep breath

Alright. Let's get this over with.

She takes another breath and blasts the door open with a burst of wind, and see's on the other side, several cannons aiming at the door. They all fire just as she swipes a hand to try to stop them, only slowing them down and a few manage to hit or kill some folks. The undead manning the cannons then rush forward to fight in melee, farther in the back of the chamber, 2 pillar sized crystals glow, with a strange pool between them. Veera stands near it, and is watching the fight break out as she does some chanting.
