Oh well. He went to work with his claws, ripping open stomachs, slicing jugulars, and other vital areas.

After a bit of gruesome fighting, the last of the monsters lay dead. A gust comes back into the area as Zephyra returns with new oversized robes. She looks around

Good. All are dead. Sorry I had to leave-was taking a bit more damage then I would prefer, and I was about to lose my robes to fire. So I left to heal up a bit and grab new robes.

She goes a bit further and finds numerous sleeping children. After checking to make sure none are monsters she quickly relocates the prisoners to guard them, until things are settled. She looks to the 3 volunteers

Thanks for helping out. Jack's probably lost around half the men he brought further in. Oh that reminds me. The mobs broken through upstairs. So your men that were holding them off fled to the cellar and are blocking it off now. We ain't got much time. Patch yourselves up if need be, and get ready to move onward.

Zephyra nods as she leaves and begins heading up the north tunnel. After around 5 minutes of walking, the tunnel veers right, then continues north once more. Ahead are about a dozen armed undead, who move forward to attack.

Jack and his men spring into action, attacking the undead with their swords, as they have used up all their ammunition. Jack knocks off the heads of two undead. As he hacks off the head of the second, a skeleton fires a pistol, grazing his his shoulder. Jack cries out, but manages to continue on.

Dreadbolt went to work, ripping off heads and crushing skulls, a whirlwind of flashing steel.

Zephyra can be heard inhaling, as she quickly breathes out a ice cold wind and freezes some of the Undead, before smashing them to bits with a hammer. After a while, all are taken care of. Zephyra quickly moves forward, after several minutes of going north, the path veers right again, then north, and another group of undead appear. Zephyra looks around before shouting.

I think we might be in some sort of a loop. These tunnels shouldn't be this big, and I think I see bits of the last group we killed still around-see those chunks of ice and what not?
