They were standing on flat ground with no hills or caves within miles. Black trots over to a large bolder and dismounts his horse. Grunting, he pushes the bolder aside. Just like that, the ground opens up beneath the others and they fall through the opening, horses and all. Black pushes the bolder back in place. The ground begins to slide back into position.

Hey, wait up!

Black jumps through the hole and it closes above him.

[Meliva]

Emily quickly takes out a feather and blows on it, as everyone aside from the horses slowly float down. She looks to black as they slowly float downward

You know, pretty dangerous to have an entrance like this. Very easy to break something even if you have cushions at the bottom. Also a heads up would have been nice.

After a couple minutes they finally land. Emily blinks a few times before looking around

Nice to be outta the light. Much prefer dark caves to sunny days. Which way now Black?

I agree, Emily. But how are we going to get the steel for my new body now? It's on the ship, which is outside.

[Meliva]

She thinks for a moment before responding.

Could send my dog to your ship with a note written by you. Have your men bring what I need over here. If nothing else I'm sure we can find something that can keep your current body going for a while longer.

She takes out a piece of paper from her robes and writes down a short list of items, before handing it to Shade.

Just sign that so your crew know it came from you along with where to go. Can your crew read? Not sure how intelligent they are. If not, I can have Ino give the letter to my sister and have her bring the materials, but that would take a bit longer.

He took the parchment, signing his name in thick, dark cursive. He then folded it shut, a red seal appearing, marked by a skull shaped bolt. They can read.

She takes the note and quickly hands it to her dog, who gently bites it before running through a nearby wall and disappearing. Emily looks around and starts pouring some water into the dirt and begins playing with the mud

Hopefully these 2 are friendly. I'm not the best at fighting to be honest. I tend to make things fight for me then fight myself.

After about a minute she steps back and smiles, as a mud golem rises up.

Much better. I always feel weak when I don't have some sort of golem to back me up.

I haven't been here in a while, but if I remember correctly there is only one way to go. Let's follow this passageway.

Black points to a narrow stone tunnel with a very dim light coming from it.

Follow me.

They walk through the tunnel, ascend down some steep stone stairs, and cross over an underground creek. Finally they reach a big spruce door. Black knocks.

Thelma? Marla?

After a few seconds the door crumbles to reveal one rather tall, gaunt woman and one very short, fat woman.

Well I'll be damned if it isn't Tom Blackthorn!

Thelma reaches for a hug but Black pulls away.

Who are your friends? Marla says in a serious tone.

I'll let them introduce themselves.
